7 MINIMUM SERVER REQUIREMENTS For optimum performance, it is recommended that Weblive Facsys be operated on a dedicated physical or virtual server. Facsys should not be installed on the same server as a Microsoft Exchange Server as rendering attachments requires additional server CPU resources and memory, which will impact server performance. CPU: Pentium 4 (1.5GHz or better) RAM: 512MB to 2GB (when combined with SQL Server 2005) Disk Space: 20GB (additional space required for storing fax messages) Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server Database: Microsoft SQL NOTE: Facsys can be deployed on a Microsoft Windows 2008 Server, but is subject to the availability of Microsoft Windows 2008 Server drivers for fax devices/foip software deployed along with Facsys. Currently Dialogic Brooktrout TR1034 and SR140 and Facsys FoIP have such drivers available.
