There are nine examinations, split into three levels, all designed to test the knowledge and understanding you will need to work in accounting support role. There is no time limit to attaining the ACCA Technician qualification, so the candidate can choose to complete the course at his/her own pace and fit his/her studies around work or family commitments. The candidate must normally be aged 16 or above to register. Some qualifications will receive exemptions from some or all papers. But even with exemptions, you have to satisfy the necessary training requirement to complete the Technician qualification as a whole. 6 FEES STRUCTURE Course Fees Acceptance NOTES Terms and conditions of acceptance Enrolment Fee: An Applicant is required to pay an Enrolment Fee of Rs 100, for all courses (Rs 500 for Graduate and post Graduate) on joining Sagittarius which is only refundable if the student s application is rejected by the centre. Course Fee: Applicants should forward the full Course Fee or Course Deposit two weeks prior commencements of studies. This fee will only be refunded in full should the Centre not provide the course for which you have enrolled. Qualifications: Students should ensure that they are suitably qualified to be accepted as a Student Member by the appropriate Association or Institute prior commencement of studies. Registration and Examination Fees: These are separate from Course Fees of Sagittarius. For full details, consult our Office. The amounts payable are posted on the notice board at appropriate times. Photographs: Two passport size photographs must accompany your application. Acceptance: The Centre can only confirm course places on receipt of a correctly completed Application Form and full payment of Course Fees or Course Deposit Fee, two weeks prior to commencement of Studies. Refunds: It is regretted that fees cannot be refunded two weeks after commencement of the course. Students are entitled to a refund, less Rs. 500 Cancellation Fee, if they advise the Centre in writing of their intention to withdraw from the course two weeks before the start of the course. Sponsors: In case of a candidate is being sponsored by his/her employer, the Course Fees must be received by Sagittarius prior to commencement of the course. Repeat Classes: Students who have paid for and attended a full course and have unfortunately failed, are eligible for 50% discount when repeating immediately. Legal Obligations: (i) Sagittarius is committed to assist students for the Course for which fees have been accepted. (ii) The student also has an obligation that once the course is commenced, he/she should complete the payment of the agreed Course Fees.
