Cetrulo, a member of the class of 1975 and a member of the Northeastern university Corporation. This fund provides financial assistance to one or more students based on financial need and academic promise, with a preference for graduates of Harvard College. Connor Foundation Law School Scholarship The Connor Foundation, Inc., a charitable corporation, was founded pursuant to the will of Howard C. Connor, a member of the class of The Connor Foundation Law School Scholarship was established by the directors of the foundation to aid financially needy students. Ethleen Heuser Diver Scholarship This scholarship was established in 1995 with the proceeds of a gift annuity donated by Ethleen Heuser Diver, class of The scholarship is awarded annually to one or more students, preferably female, based on Laurie A. Ebacher Scholarship This scholarship was established in 1986 by Laurie A. Ebacher, class of A former clerk of the Amesbury District Court, Mr. Ebacher served on the state Banking Commission until his retirement. His public service in Amesbury, Massachusetts, includes nine years on the School Committee and serving as a Public Library trustee. Mr. Ebacher served 10 years as a Rockingham County, New Hampshire, planning commissioner, and is a practicing attorney in Amesbury. The scholarship is awarded annually to one or more students based on
3 John T. Gaffney Sr. Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established in 1987 by the family and friends of John T. Gaffney Sr., class of 1949, L.L.M., Mr. Gaffney joined the Suffolk County District Attorney s Office in 1949, serving as an assistant district attorney and as first assistant district attorney under Garrett Byrne. Awards from this fund are made annually to second- or thirdyear students with a specific interest in criminal law. Nathan and Adele Hillman Scholarship This scholarship was established in 1972 by Nathan Hillman, a graduate of the School of Law, class of 1942, and his wife, Adele. The scholarship is given solely to students in the School of Law who are either orphans or from broken homes and has demonstrated Eli and Martha Jacobson Memorial Scholarship In 1975 this memorial scholarship fund was established in the name of Eli Jacobson by his friends and relatives. Mr. Jacobson was an alumnus of the school of Law, class of 1933, and a member of the Northeastern University Corporation and Board of Trustees. During his lifetime, he gave support to many philanthropic organizations. In 1980, in commemoration of the 75 th birthday of Eli s wife, Martha Jacobson, friends and relatives paid tribute to her through gifts to the fund originally established in Eli s name. The spirit and generosity exhibited by Mr. and Mrs. Jacobson are now perpetuated, and both are recognized through this scholarship. Awards are made annually to students based on financial need, soundness of character and academic ability. The Jeffs Scholarship The Jeffs Scholarship was established in 1997 by two guys named Jeff (Jeffrey B. Lowenfels and Jeffrey M. Feldman, members of the class of 1975) who, after completing law school, moved to Alaska, but always missed the white-gray bricks of Huntington Avenue. The scholarship is awarded annually to a student named Jeff or, at the discretion of the dean, to a third-year student who has made the law school a more interesting, stimulating and entertaining environment in which to be trained in the law.
4 Joseph and Corinne Krinsky Scholarship This scholarship was established in 1972 by Joseph Krinsky, a graduate of the School of Law, class of The scholarship is awarded annually to a student based on William D. Lane Scholarship This scholarship was established by the family and friends of William D. Lane, cum laude graduate of the class of The scholarship is awarded to one or more students in the School of Law based on financial need. Richard G. and Clare E. Lesser Scholarship Fund Established in 1996 by Clare E. Lesser, class of 1984, and her husband, Richard G. Lesser, the scholarship is preferably awarded to a female student who demonstrates academic promise, financial need and a special interest in public service law. Gabriel A. Namen Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established in 1988 in memory of Gabriel A. Namen, an alumnus of the law school s class of The scholarship is awarded to a first-year student or students from Worcester County based on Alumni/ae Association Scholarship To commemorate the founding of Northeastern University School of Law in 1898, the School of Law Alumni/we Association established this scholarship in It is preferably awarded to second-year students based upon academic or co-op performance and demonstrated financial need. Leonora Keeney Pemberton Memorial Scholarship A member of the class of 1980, Nora Pemberton was a conscientious, dedicated student who entered the study of law based on a mature understanding of herself, her abilities and her desire to help those in need. She was particularly interested in women s issues, poverty law and family law. Income from the fund is awarded annually to a promising student or students sharing the interests and goals of Nora Pemberton.

Robert Popeo Scholarship This fund was established by R. Robert Popeo, a 1961 graduate of Northeastern University s College of Liberal Arts. Mr. Popeo, a member of the Northeastern University Corporation and Board of Overseers, also serves as director of The National Council. The scholarship is awarded to students in the School of Law solely on the basis of John T. Powell Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established in 1974 by the law firm of Hale and Dorr in memory of John T. Powell, a partner in the firm and a graduate of the School of Law, class of This scholarship is awarded to one or more deserving students based on academic ability and soundness of character. Peter W. Princi Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established in 1985 by the children, family and friends of Peter W. Princi, class of Mr. Princi served as magistrate for the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts from 1971 until He was a member of the Northeastern University Corporation and was the recipient of an honorary doctor of laws degree from Northeastern University.
