The ARC of Virginia The Arc of Virginia promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. The ARC of Virginia provides Medicaid Waiver mentoring to advise families regarding accessing these funds and provides valuable information via their website. Autism Society Central Virginia P.O. Miracle League of Richmond: P O Box 1157 Mechanicsville, VA An adaptive baseball program for students with disabilities, they feature a rubberized field near L.C. Byrd High School in Chesterfield. Special Olympics: Skipwith Road, Suite 100 Richmond, VA Special Olympics provide recreational opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. Firecrackers All-star American Cheerleading Team A cheerleading team for girls and boys with disabilities. The team competes at in-state competitions. Sportable: Overbrook Road Room 2 Richmond, Virginia (804) An adaptive sports program for persons with physical disabilities. They have programs featuring handcycling, soccer, basketball and more. Easter Seals-Project Success: A Service-learning oriented program that provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to work on community projects with non-disabled peers. Camp Baker A program of the Richmond ARC that provides a full service respite and camp facility Camp Virginia Jaycee A summertime outdoor recreational and educational facility for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Camp Rainbow Blackstone A weeklong respite camp for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

College Bound Held on the Virginia Tech. campus, College Bound is a three day program that allows high school juniors and seniors with disabilities to explore college transition and maximize college success.
