1 AUTHOR BIOGRAPHIES Mohammed Alromaih is a graduate student within the Computer Science program at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He will graduate with an MS in Computer Science and a minor in Security in He is also a teacher assistant in King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. Alromaih's research concentrates on computer and network security. Sonia Chiasson is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. She has been awarded a Canada Research Chair in Human Oriented Computer Security. She is PADI Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver, Toastmasters Advanced Communicator Bronze, certified ZUMBA B1 and B2 instructor. Emily Cummins graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in May 2012 with a bachelor s of science in Information Security and Forensics. She has a background in system administration and holds keen interests in the area of IT auditing and penetration testing. Ann Fry is a Ph.D. student at Carleton University - School of Computer Science. Her research interests include Operating Systems, Forensics, Log Analysis, and Network Security. Carlos Gonzalez received his BBA in Computer Information Systems and Security from Our Lady of the Lake University and an MS in Networking and System Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology. Manish Gupta is an information security professional in a Northeast based bank in US. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at State University of New York at Buffalo, USA. He received his Ph.D. (Management Science and Systems) and an MBA (Information Systems and Finance) from State University of New York, Buffalo, NY, USA in 2011 and 2003, respectively. He received his Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow, India in He has more than twelve years of professional experience in information systems, security policies and technologies. He has published 6 books in the area of information security and assurance. He has published more than 50 research articles in leading journals, conference proceedings and books including DSS, ACM Transactions, IEEE and JOEUC. He holds several professional designations including CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISSPCS, CIW Security Analyst and PMP. He is a member of Sigma Xi, Beta Gamma Sigma, ISACA and ISC2. He received prestigious 2008 ISC2 information security scholarship (awarded on to only 7 researchers around the world) from ISC2 and also received Ph.D. Student Achievement Award from SUNY Buffalo. Michael Hitchens received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Newcastle Australia in He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computing at Macquarie University, Australia. There he is a member of the Information and Networked Systems Security Research Group, the Virtual and Interactive Simulations of Reality Research Group and the Interactive Media Institute. His research interests include access control, computer forensics, player experience and virtual storytelling. Petter Lovaas, has his B.S in Information Technology Management from the University of Minnesota, and his M.S and D.Sc. in Information Assurance and Computer Security from Dakota State University, a national Center for Academic Excellence in Information Assurance awarded by the National Security Agency. Dr. Lovaas currently teaches in the Computer and Information Sciences department at Niagara University as an assistant professor teaching Computer Forensics and Computer Security courses. 2 extensive experience in information security consulting with the Banking and Financial sector. Dr. Lovaas has several national and international publications in highly recognized outlets. Kalana (Kal) Malimage is Doctoral Candidate of Information Systems at Mississippi State University. He is presently member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants (KYCPA), and Association for Information Systems (AIS). Sanjay Misra obtained a M. Tech. degree in Software Engineering from Motilal Nehru National National Institute of Technology, Allahabad India and D.Phil. from University of Allahabad, India. Presently he is Professor of Computer Engineering, and Head of Cyber Security science Department School of Communication and Information Technology, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria. He is a software engineer and previously held academic positions at Atilim University, Turkey, Subharati University, and UP Technical University India. His current research interests in the areas of: Software quality, software measurement, software metrics, software process improvement, software project management, object oriented technologies, XML, SOA, Web Services, cognitive informatics and cyber security. He published more than 80 papers in these areas and got several awards for outstanding publications. He is founder of several international workshops (Software Engineering Process and Applications 2009 and 2010, 2011 (Springer), Tools and Techniques in Software Development Process 2009, 2010, 2011 (IEEE), Software Quality 2009 (IEEE), 2011 (Springer), and Software Metrics and Measurement 2009 (IEEE)) in area of Software Engineering. Tae (Tom) Oh received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University in Also, he received MS and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in 1995 and2001, respectively, while working for telecommunication and defense companies. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology and his research includes mobile ad hoc networks (MANET), mobile device security, sensor networks, modeling and simulation (OPNET), Network Security, Telemedicine and green communications. Srikanth Parameswaran is a first-year Doctoral student of Management Science and Systems in the School of Management at the University at Buffalo. His research interests include health care, cloud computing, information security and technology innovation. Leon Reznik is a Professor of Computer Science at the Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, USA. He received his BS/MS degree in Computer Control Systems in 1978 and a ASIA & SKM 12-81

Dr. Reznik's research concentrates on study and development of intelligent computing systems for control, sensor networks and systems as well as cyber security applications. Usama Salama is an IT security professional with 15 years of IT experience. He has a wide range of expertise in security consulting, support and management. He has strong background in Cryptography, PKI, data recovery and forensic investigations. He is an EnCE, CEH, CHFI and CISSP certified. Currently he is working as a senior security consultant at Verizon Business. Usama is a Masters Research Student at Dept. of Computing, Macquarie University. Anil Somayaji is an associate professor in the School of Computer Science at Carleton University, in Ottawa, Canada. He is also Associate Director of the Carleton Computer Security Lab. His research interest includes areas of computer security, operating systems, artificial life, and complex adaptive systems. William (Bill) Stackpole is an Associate Professor and has been on the faculty at the Rochester Institute of Technology since He teaches in the Department of Networking Security and Systems Administration primarily in the areas of computer system security, mobile security and forensics. Detmar Straub is a Regent's Professor of the University System of Georgia and the J. Mack Robinson Distinguished Professor of Information Systems at Georgia State University, Detmar has conducted research in the areas of Net-enhanced organizations (e-commerce), information security, technological innovation, IS methodological issues, and international IT studies. He holds a DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) in MIS from Indiana and a Ph.D. in English from Penn State. He has published 165 plus papers in journals such as MIS Quarterly, Management Science, Information Systems Research, Organization Science, Journal of MIS, Journal of AIS, Information & Management, Communications of the AIS, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Communications of the ACM, OMEGA, Academy of Management Executive, and Sloan Management Review. Vijay is a member of the Australian Government s Peak Security Advisory Group ITSEAG for the Dept. of Broadband, Communications and Digital Economy, Australia. He is a member of the Australian Gov t Research Council ARC College of Experts in Engineering, Mathematics and Informatics. Vijay has been on the Editorial Board of several journals including the IEEE Transactions in Dependable and Secure Computing, the ACM Transactions on Information Systems Security, Springer International Journal of Information Security and IEEE Security and Privacy. He has published more than 300 papers in international journals and conferences, has co-authored and edited eight books on security, networks and distributed systems and holds three patents. Wagner is president of Niagara University Lay Teachers Association (NULTA), chair and associate professor of the Computer and Information Sciences department at Niagara University and is also an elected member-at-large for the New York State Conference of AAUP. Merrill Warkentin is Professor of MIS and John and Carole Ferguson Notable Scholar in the College of Business at Mississippi State University, where he is also a member of the research staff of the Centre for Computer Security Research. He has published over 230 manuscripts, including over 50 journal articles.
