2 Initiative aims to carry out exchange meetings and consolidate efforts of partner organizations in Patient Safety and patient-centered healthcare principles implementation in Eastern European and Asian countries

3 4 regions of the Initiative: I. Caucasus Countries (Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan); II. Countries of Central Asia and Mongolia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia); III. Countries of North-Eastern Europe (Poland, Lithuania, Republic Belarus, Russia); IV. Countries of Balkan Peninsula, Moldova and Ukraine (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Moldova and Ukraine)

6 What do we plan to do within the project? to create international network of partner organizations to study and systemize common issues to develop plans for joint problem solving actively support implementation of best practices in our countries

Regional Meetings: North-Eastern Europe (Warsaw, September, 8 th -10 th, 2008) Caucasus (Tbilisi, October, 3 rd 5 th, 2008) Central-Eastern Europe (Chisinau, October, 19 21, 2008) Asia (Almaty, November, 12 th -14 th, 2008) III. Final Meeting (Kiev, December, 5 th 9 th, 2008)
