2 1 Mission of NCCC The mission of the Norwegian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce is to provide a professional and social forum for those wishing to participate in the Norwegian-Chinese business and cultural communities, thus promoting business opportunities between the two countries. Our aim is to become the preferred forum for Norwegian-Chinese business participants in Norway. Board In 2012 the Board has held 5 Board meetings. 3 2 NCCC Board with Norwegian Ambassador in Beijing, Consul general in Shanghai and Consul general in Guangzhou, Summer 2012 Summary of 2012 The Norwegian Chinese Chamber of Commerce has mainly provided 80 members, Chinese or Norwegian, with a professional and social forum. In 2012 a total of 547 persons joined NCCC 6 members meetings; This record breaking fact reflects that there, among our members, is a huge interest in Norwegian Chinese business opportunities, in Chinese culture, knowledge of China as future driver of innovation, in putting sustainability on the corporate agenda, in environmental challenges, and in financial opportunities arising from China-Norway relationships and collaboration. NCCC has arranged and participated in encounters with Diplomats and business delegates, and has arranged its Chinese language course. NCCC has kept up its work of facilitating Norwegian Chinese business relations through a challenging Administration The daily administration of NCCC, including accounting, website and communication has been taken care of the Chairman of NCCC Board of Directors Ms. Elise Chen and Accounting manager Ms. Suwanna Lian. Mr. Eivind Bryne, the CEO of NCCC has the main responsibility for promoting NCCC organization, being main contact person for NCCC Members and organizational development. Members NCCC had a total of 80 members at the end of Where including 60 corporate members, 18 individual members, and 2 student members. Additionally Visa applications have been filed through NCCC, although applications now have to be presented at the Embassy in person.

4 3 Activities During 2012, NCCC held six members meetings with in total 547 participants joining the meetings. NCCC has also the Chinese Language Course for our members. The Chinese course was held each Tuesday except the holidays. 10 9 Plans for 2013 The Board of Directors will continue the work in accordance with NCCC s purpose and objectives as stated in the Articles of Association. An important goal for 2013 will be to continuously grow the membership base and expand the services offered to members. The Chamber will continuously strive to improve the quality of the members meetings by addressing topics that are interesting and useful to the members and by assuring the quality of speakers at the meetings. We will also continue the cooperation with the other institutions and co-organize both business related and other social events.
