TRIS is a highly evolved system for monitoring emerging threats and live incidents in real-time on a global scale that could impact the health, safety or security of personnel and other assets. Used by corporations worldwide as a definitive business resilience tool, our highly skilled teams of analysts operate 24/7, investigating a multitude of sources to identify relevant incidents and immediately report them to subscribers via a leading-edge alerting platform. TRIS is beneficial to all departments within globally operating corporations who have a level of responsibility for ensuring employee safety and business continuity, including security, risk, travel, HR and insurance. It delivers a wealth of risk information consolidated into one central resource, which assists in understanding the current risk profile of every country and major city around the world. In addition, TRIS allows for the compilation of risk assessments, security briefs and development of travel safety policies. TRIS is operated through a secure and easy to use internet based portal, and utilises innovative technology and software that has been developed totally in-house by Anvil s highly skilled IT developers and risk analysts. The system can be linked to corporate intranets, so that employees in general can benefit from access to all or some of its features. Having the right information at the right time is critical to protect the corporation and its employees from threats and incidents that could affect not only the health, safety and wellbeing of the workforce, but also business profitability, shareholder value and brand reputation. How does TRIS work? TRIS is supported by a global team of risk analysts who operate 24/7 to identify and report on incidents and events that could impact employee safety or business continuity. In addition, the team is responsible for continually updating risk information stored in the TRIS database to ensure the content is always the very latest available from our wide range of risk data sources. Our analysts monitor literally 1,000 s of sources to gather relevant information, including: International, national and local media, news wires, social media and retained in-country sources The World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and United Nations Warnings and advisories from overseas embassies and consuls regarding security conditions for the countries in which they are operational In-country police, law enforcement, military, security and intelligence services Government and NGO organizations Anvil s network of global partners and own employees located around the world As well as reporting the established facts about an incident and providing general advice, our analysts will geocode the exact location of the incident with longitude and latitude coordinates, and assign a threat level numeric indicator, so subscribers can understand the potential impact of the incident. Alerts are issued within 15 minutes of our analysts becoming aware of the incident and are sent via as standard. Other communication methods can be adopted as specified by our clients through custom designed incident response procedures. It s no good hearing about an incident hours after it has happened. 5 Personal alerts Nobody benefits from an inbox full of irrelevant s, so TRIS allows users to create alert profiles that can be defined by exact geographic location, incident categories and threat levels of interest specific to their travel plans or business operations. Grouped under the six incident category headings of Crime, General Safety, Health, Security, Transportation and Other, there are currently 75 different incident categories to select from. Alerts can also be set to continue indefinitely or for a defined time period. Fixed assets and supply chain TRIS is exceptional in its approach to storing information and alerting organisations to threats and incidents that could impact physical assets, like office buildings and distribution centres, or other key infrastructure, such as supply chain routes. Subscribers can upload 1,000 s of assets and allocate them to groups and fields that can be fully customised to match the unique structure of the client organisation. Proximity Alerts Proximity alerts are triggered when an incident is reported within a pre-set distance of an asset. As with personal alerts, users are able to define what type of alerts they want to receive by geographic location, incident category What makes TRIS unique? and threat level. In addition, they can set up a profile to generate an alert according to the distance of the incident from the asset. TRIS and the Employee Travel Monitoring System TRIS can be fully integrated with Anvil s traveller tracking solution, the Employee Travel Monitoring System (ETMS). As soon as an incident is reported within TRIS, the systems will cross-correlate to determine the identity of any travellers that could be impacted by the incident and an alert will be sent automatically, either directly to the travellers or to those responsible for their safety. ETMS recently won a Queen s Award for Enterprise in the category of continuous innovation. The UK s most prized business accolade was awarded to Anvil in recognition of the benefits the system provides to business travellers and their employers in regard to implementing effective risk management strategies.
