As a business we have taken the decision to focus on metal products to achieve the highest performance, long term value and sustainability demanded today. Through better design, responsible sourcing of materials and innovative manufacturing techniques, we are able to provide our clients with solution that help their buildings achieve global environmental standards. Aspects such as the gauge of the metal, the grade of steel or aluminium, the method of painting, the thickness of paint coating and the final surface performance are critical factors to both the aesthetic appearance and long-term performance of the installation and therefore sustainability considerations. Our paint coatings for example can be guaranteed for up to 40 years. In addition to ISO 9001 and OH SAS all our manufacturing facilities are accredited by BSI to ISO (Environmental Quality System), this ensures that we reduce the environmental impact of our manufacturing processes with regular management reviews. Compliance Areas: Our interior products contribute to a number and criteria. Many of these measures we contribute to are assessed across the whole project and where required we can provide test data or information to support these measures. 2 LBi: Liveable Indoors LBi-2.4: Ceiling Systems Confirm the use of low emission ceiling systems to encourage the desirability of these spaces in relation to improved occupant health. Demonstrate that all suspended ceiling systems comply with the requirements of BS EN 13964: 2004 section 4.5, in relation to asbestos (no asbestos) and formaldehyde content (which must meet class E1 at a minimum and be tested, classified and appropriately marked). LBi-2.5: Material Emissions: Formaldehyde Reduction To mitigate the health risks associated with formaldehyde in building materials and products. 1 Credit Point; Demonstrate that all internal construction materials do not exceedformaldehyde VOC content class E1 levels. LBi-2.4: Contribution SAS International metal ceiling systems are all manufactured and supplied to BS EN 1394:2004. A copy of our EC Declaration of Conformity can downloaded from our website SAS International metal ceiling systems are finished with an electrostatically applied powder coat finish. Unlike liquid based paints this process is well documented to show that it produces zero or near zero VOCs during manufacture or use. Anti -- corrosive paint applied to our metal grid do not exceed the VOC content limits established in Green Seal Standard GS- 11, Paints, First Edition, May 20, SAS wood finishes do not exceed the VOC content limits established in South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Rule 1113, Architectural Coatings. LBi-2.5: Contribution Please refer to LBi-2.4 contribution LBi-7: Daylight and Glare To promote building designs that maximize the use of natural daylight indoors. Demonstrate a minimum daylight illuminance of 250 Lux on the working plane (762mm from finished floor level) for a percentage of the occupied area, as follows: 1 Credit Point: 50% of the occupied area 2 Credit Point: 75% of the occupied area LBi-7: Contribution SAS International metal ceiling systems help contribute towards this credit. 3 LBi-9: Indoor Noise Pollution Provide acoustic conditions that are commensurate with the sensitivity and/or acoustic privacy requirements of the proposed use. Demonstrate that internal ambient noise levels do not exceed 50 db(a) Leq in the area to be occupied. Additional Requirements: Retail: Demonstrate that internal ambient noise levels do not exceed 50 db(a)leq in the area to be occupied and 45 db(a)leq for occupied spaces in restaurant areas. Schools: All spaces within the school must be designed to meet the requirements laid out in Building Bulletin 93 (in particular tables 1.1 through to 1.6). LBi-9: Contribution SAS International metal ceiling systems may contribute towards this credit including BB93 requirements. Our range of ceiling systems provide up to 0.90 αω / Class A acoustic absorption and up to 49dB acoustic attenuation. SM: Stewarding Materials SM-2: Design for Materials Reduction To reduce the overall amount of material used in the development of buildings. Demonstrate that fewer materials are used in the final building design than in a typical building of the same type by achieving at least one of the following initiatives: At least 90% of the interior floor area does not include finishes (apart from sealant); At least 90% of the ceiling area does not have any ceiling systems (exposed ceilings only); or Use of dual function surfaces or materials SM-2: Contribution SAS International acoustic lighting rafts and acoustic baffle systems have been designed to enable exposed concrete soffits to be utilised with natural ventilation strategies. 4 SM-3: Design for Flexibility & Adaptability To lengthen the useful life of buildings through designs that are easily adaptable for other program uses. Demonstrate the following: 90% of interior, non-structural walls are demountable or movable (by area) SM-2: Contribution All SAS International systems are designed to be disassembled for either re-sue or for recycling. Our partitioning systems are fully relocatable during their service life and therefore can be fully disassembled at end of life for recycling. SM-4: Design for Disassembly To facilitate the future deconstruction and reuse of buildings and their structural and envelope components. Develop a Building Disassembly Plan highlighting the following: materials intended for recovery; materials connection requirements; system for marking and identifying recoverable elements prior to installation; best management practices for disassembly; and the disassembly sequence. Demonstrate that 50% of the building structural skeleton, 75% of façade, or 90% of the roof is designed for disassembly (by surface area). SM-4: Contribution All SAS International systems are designed to be disassembled for either re-sue or for recycling. Our steel and aluminium Metal Ceiling systems are fully recyclable at the end of life. Both metals have a closed material loop and are recycled back into new steel or aluminium instead of a tertiary product. For over 30 years, recyclability and waste management have been an integral part of our manufacturing processes as well as part of the build solution we offer. SM-6: Design for Durability To promote a long life building by protecting its components from condensation, water ingress, improper drainage and protecting vulnerable areas of the building envelope and surroundings. Develop and implement a Building Durability Plan (BDP) to optimize the integrity of the building envelope. SM-6: Contribution Our metal ceiling solutions have a lifespan in excess of 25 years with only very basic maintenance. Using approved architectural powder coatings the paint finish can be guaranteed for 40 years; providing the durability and longevity required.

5 SM-10: Recycled Materials To increase the demand for recycled materials to reduce the amount of waste going to disposal. Other Materials 1 Credit Point: Demonstrate that any combination of materials with the following characteristics constitute at least 10% of the Total Material Costs: - minimum 30% post-consumer recycled content - minimum of 80% post-industrial content - 50% agricultural waste by-product SM-10: Contribution SAS International works with all its suppliers to ensure maximum recycled content is achieved. All SAS products incorporate recycled content materials, thereby reducing impacts resulting from extraction and processing of virgin materials. All SAS Manufacturing plants operate an ISO programme that actively reduces production waste. Any manufacturing waste is minimised and diverted away from landfill waste being recycled into new virgin raw materials. Preconsumer recycling rates vary depending on manufacturing processes completed. SAS Metal Ceiling Systems: Our steel is sourced from a number of manufacturing facilities including BOF (Basic Oxygen Furnace) and EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) providing 25% or 100% recycled content subject to scrap availability. Due to its closed material loop all new steel could be manufactured from recycled scrap steel. However, the increasing demand for steel, which is 50% greater today than it was 10 years ago, and the long life of products made from steel, delays it availability as scrap. Across Europe all steel contains an average of 60% recycled content, 40% globally, with the recycled content varying from one steel product to another. High recycled content in some steel products limits the recycled content in another due to global levels of scrap. On average demand for new steel outstrips scrap supply by 2 to 1. Individual recycled content figures for each of our ceiling systems vary depending on the acoustic backing material. We have a minimum 25% recycled content; specific figures are available for individual systems on request. SAS Partitioning Systems & Aluminium Products: Our aluminium is sourced from manufacturers who use a minimum of 75% recycled content. Re-smelt aluminium uses approx. 5% of the energy required to manufacture one tonne compared to virgin aluminium.

6 SM-12: Reused or Certified Timber To encourage the use of timber sourced from legal and sustainable sources. Demonstrate that a proportion (by cost) of the timber and composite wood products used on the project, including temporary construction timber, is reused OR certified (with Chain of Custody Certification: CoC) under any one or any combination of the following certification schemes as per the Requirement Achievement table: o Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), or o Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification scheme (PEFC) or the following national schemes endorsed by PEFC: the Canadian Standards Association, CSA, the Sustainable Forestry Initiative SFI and the Malaysian Timber Certification Scheme MTCS; And Demonstrate that all timber is legally sourced and not on the CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) list of endangered species (Appendix I, II and III). SM-12: Contribution SAS manufactures a comprehensive range of internal door and door sets to suit all requirements. We offer a range of fully tested and certified door sets with a choice of softwood and hardwood frames or our revolutionary rapid fit aluminium XP door set. All our door sets are manufactured to project requirements and are supplied factory assembled complete with vision panels, non-protruding ironmongery, and acoustic, intumescent and smoke seals. Softwood door frames are available with full FSC or PEFC chain of custody. Hardwood door frames are available with full FSC or PEFC chain of custody. SAS Veneered Door Leaves are manufactured FSC approved door cores and FSC or PEFC veneers. (TT-COC ) PEFC/ SM-13: Improved Construction Waste Management To further reduce the long-term environmental impacts associated with construction waste collection, transport and disposal. 1 Credit Point: Demonstrate that the Contractor implemented monthly monitoring of the CDWMP, and achieved a minimum final recycling/salvage rate of 50% of construction and demolition waste (by weight or volume). This figure excludes all hazardous waste that must undergo specialized treatment SM-13: Contribution SAS International metal ceiling systems are designed and manufactured to reduce on-site wastage. Factory manufactured apertures for mechanical and electrical services can be incorporated for project specific tiles. All SAS International ceiling tiles and supporting grid and perimeter trims are manufactured from steel and/or aluminium therefore any site waste is fully recyclable.
