1 TEAM TOUR OF TURKEY The information below will give you all required information for a sample 11 day / 10 night tour to Turkey. Turkey has become one of the most favorable spots for Professional Team's winter training camps due do its world-class facilities and the diverse professional competition. Turkey training camps and tours are only available between the months of December April when professional opposition and youth national teams will be training before their seasons. ABOUT TURKEY Having a typical Mediterranean climate means that Side plays host to long hot summers and short mild winters. Side is a small town on the southern coast of Turkey. It is one of the most well known ancient towns in the country. It is about 75 km from Antalya. Side sits upon a small peninsula that is only about 800m in length, providing some spectacular views across the Mediterranean Sea. Thousands of Professional League teams are arranging winter training camps from all over the Mediterranean province during the winter break. An estimated 1,200 teams hold training camps in Antalya between January and the end of March, which means competitive professional games are readily available.

2 FOOTBALL ACTIVITIES Facility Info The facility had a total of 5 football pitches all in FIFA standards and 3 training pitches. All pitches are covered with Bermuda grass and have drainage and automatic irrigation systems. The sports complex has tactics rooms for the coaches, changing rooms and showers for the football players, and press rooms with TV, fax and internet facilities for the members of press.

3 Side, Turkey Hotel in Side Located approx. 250 away from the wide, fine sand beach (regular, free hotel shuttle available). Shopping and entertainment possibilities are located close-by. The picturesque Old Town of Side is approx. 8 km away (cheap minibus shuttle available). The well-known vacation resort with various comforts and its great club ambiance features well-kept gardens and two pools with sun terraces. Only a short 15 minute bus ride to training and games.

4 Liesure Activities in Side, Turkey Manavgat Waterfall Manavgat Waterfall on the Manavgat River is near the city of Side, 3 km (2 mi) north of Manavgat, Turkey. Near the waterfalls are shady tea gardens providing a pleasant resting place. Though the fall is only a few metres high, the riverbed is wide and the flow high enough to make the falls thundering and white all over. In the viewing area, it's possible to wet your feet immediately on the edge of the fall safely in a small pond enclosed with fencing. The water is refreshingly cold! Temple of Apollo This compact site is one of the most romantic on this Mediterranean coast. Dating from the 2nd century BC, they are at the southwestern tip of Side harbour. A half-dozen columns from the Temple of Athena have been placed upright in their original spots, and after dark a spotlight dramatically outlines their form. Vespasian Gate The Monument of the Vespasian Gate, Side, Turkey, is placed on a double stepped podium. It was dedicated to Emperior Vaspasianus (69-79 A.D.). Home to some of the most ancient ruins in the World. Ancient Side Amphitheatre There are colossal ruins of a theatre complex, the largest of Pamphylia, built much like a Roman amphitheatre that relies on arches to support the sheer verticals. The Roman style was adopted because Side lacked a convenient hillside that could be hollowed out in the usual Greek fashion more typical of Asia Minor. The theatre is less preserved than the theatre at Aspendos, but it is almost as large, seating 15,000-20,000 people.
