5 1 Enterprise ICT investment trends 1.1 Introduction This report presents the findings from a survey of Canadian enterprises regarding their Information & Communication Technology (ICT) investment priorities. The survey investigates the core technologies which Canadian enterprises are investing in, including the likes of enterprise applications, security, mobility, communications & collaboration, and cloud computing. The report also highlights Canadian enterprises strategic objectives with regards to their ICT investments, in order to provide better insight to ICT vendors relating to the positioning of their solutions. ICT investment trends are identified through to the second half of 2014 following feedback from respondents on their forthcoming investment plans.
