1 Dear Shihan, Sensei and Sempaï, I am pleased to invite you to the first edition of the Belgian Open Kumite organised by the IKO Belgium. The competition will take place on March the 3 rd 2012 in the sport hall of Roux (1, rue des couturelles 6044, Roux 10 minutes to the Charleroi Airport). Categories : - 1 : categories mens +18 year elite (-70kg, -80kg, +80kg). - 2 : categories mens +18 year class B with leg protections (-70kg, -80kg, +80kg). - 3 : categories mens senior élite +35 years with leg protections (-80kg, +80kg). - 4 : categories mens senior class B +35 years with leg protections (-80kg, +80kg). - (5)* : categories women +18 years with leg protections (-65kg, +65kg) * If enough inscriptions before February the 1 st. 2 Useful Information Place/Timing : Complexe sportif de Roux (Sports Center of Roux): 1 Rue des Couturelles, 6044 Roux (Belgium), 10 minutes from Charleroi airport. From on, competitors and coaches will be welcomed for weighings and administrative checkings. The opening ceremony will start at and the referee board briefing will begin at PS : In order to ease the morning organization, we kindly ask the participating dojos to prepare a folder in which the medical certificate, the discharge (see page 5) and the picture copyrights (see page 6) will be signed and filled in for each competitor. Registration Fees : A registration fee of 15euro will be asked for each competitor. The total amount of the fees shall be paid by credit transfer on the BKOF asbl (Belgian Kyokushin Organisation Francophone) bank account as soon as the registration forms are sent by mail. Entrance to the sport hall for spectators: 7. Only 5 if the seats are bought before the event (get in touch by mail with Sempai Domenico Firenze to buy them before the day of the tournament). 3 Rules : The tournament will follow IKO1 international kumite rules. PAY ATTENTION : man elite categories (only) will not bear shinbone protections. Judges / referees: We gently ask each IKO1 participating dojo to provide a judge and/or a referee (1 sushin and/or 1 fukushin). It would give us great pleasure to offer them the midday meal on the occasion. Coaches : A maximum of two coaches per team is allowed. The entrance is free for both. Changing rooms : The changing room area is strictly reserved for competitors, coaches, medical staff and the official organizers. No other person will be admitted in that area. Food and drinks : Fast food, drinks and snacks will be sold on the spot with a restaurant view on the sport hall. Veteran categories : 35-year-old competitors (and higher) are allowed to take part in lower-aged categories if they wish to. i.e. : a (38-year-old shodan) competitor, who would be normally registered in elite veterans (category 3), may ask to join the senior elite category by pointing out «category 1» on the application chart. 5 Open de Belgique Discharge I, the undersigned.., declare on the honor assured being of civil liability, and discharges the belgian kyokushin organisation, the BKOF, of all the consequences which would result from my participation in the tournament called "Open de Belgique Kyokushinkai 2012", which will be held in the sport hall of Roux, 1 rue des couturelles, 6044 Roux on Saturday 3 March I certify by the present one, to have taken perfect knowledge of the rules of this tournament. 6 Open de Belgique Authorization of pictures I, the undersigned: Resident with:.... Admit being informed by the association (BKOF) that my public participation in the Open de Belgique Kyokushinkai of March the 3, could be the subject of photographs and audio-visual recording. I am informed which these photographs could be published and which recording will be able to give place to a diffusion on one or more chains TV and to a recording on a video. By the present one, I authorize BKOF to be reproduced and make represent any picture of my person who would be taken at the time of «Open de Belgique» of March the 3rd 2012 and for one unlimited period. Consequently, BKOF will be able to publish the photographs of my picture taken at the time of this demonstration, by way of press, edition, posts, web site, for unlimited period. BKOF will be able to also yield these photographs to partners presses whithin the framework of promotion of «Open de Belgique» or for a demonstration organised by it. To in no case the photographs will not be able to give place to an advertising use other than promotion of the magazines published by it, of the demonstrations which it organizes and of the Martial arts in general. In the same way, BKOF will be able to make diffuse my image by television way and on video for one unlimited period.
