1 Uğur Mine Tamay CV English CV She was born in Ankara in Won İstanbul State of Fine Arts Academy Painting, Sculpture, Interior Architecture and Applied Arts School of Interior Architecture. She chose to enroll Advance Paintings at the State Academy of Fine Arts. Studied at Prof. Adnan Çoker workshop. She graduated from the Advanced Painting Department of the Academy in 1983 with a good degree. She also studied applied carpet at Prof. Zekai Ormancı s Workshop and graduated successfully. She participated over 44 solo exhibitions in Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir and Antalya. Joined numerous exhibitions and biennials. She received 6 awards, including International Olympic Committee Painting and Sculpture Paintings Contest first prize, (exhibit at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.)Her works can be seen in domestic and overseas public and private collections. Tamay continues her work in her workshop in Istanbul. Married with Cemil Tamay in 1982.They have two daughters named Serra (1991) and Sena (2000).At 2014 third child Yücel Ömral joined the family.
