In 2004, a team of innovative engineers and designers set themselves the challenge to design a system for the mainstream. Choose the top of the range for installations if orientation is not ideal. Combined installation comprising 2 V20 thermal panels (centre) and 4 PV20 photovoltaic panels. 7 Clearline oof Integration Kits (for 20, 30 series) Flashing kits are compatible with both V series thermal and PV series photovoltaic panels and are available in specialised kits to suit tile and slate roofs. Each flashing kit contains components to fit 20 or 30 series panels (see page 3 for PV6 panels). oofing kits are available for both tiled and slate roofs. Weathertightness, external spread of flame and wind resistance have been confirmed and all Clearline panels and flashing kits are accredited to MCS02. Electrical or hydraulic connections can be made inside the building, leaving all connections accessible and allowing roofing works to be completely separated from plumbing or electrical works. 12 The pod The biggest challenge when installing heating isn t fitting the panels on the roof, it s the work inside the home to interface heating with the existing heating system. The Pod is a game-changing new approach that simplifies installation of heating and reduces disruption in the home to an absolute minimum. panel The Pod fits through a standard loft hatch and its horizontal format means it will slide into the tightest corner. The only work inside the house is to run pipework to feed the heated water to the existing heating system. pod Pod PV has an immersion heater which can be powered with excess electricity from a photovoltaic installation.
