3 Product line information The AC LINE is comprised of spring-applied single-disc brakes which can beconnected directly to an ACpower source (e.g. motor terminal box) without having to use a rectifier.the switching times of the AC LINE brakes are characteristically shorter than DC operated brakes. Electromagnetically operated springapplied braking generates the braking torque when voltage is removed.
