1 Market withdrawals When United discontinues service or removes its UA* marketing code in a market, impacted 016 records will be updated and customers will be reaccommodated when possible. Reaccommodation on United or United Express When alternative United or United Express flights are available, United updates the record with reaccommodation information and a message is sent to the agency queue. The agency should then reissue the ticket and advise their customer of the change. If the provided protection is not satisfactory to the customer, self-service rebooking parameters may be found on united.com/agency by clicking Agency Rebooking Parameters. Reaccommodation on other airlines If the customer needs to be re-protected on another airline, United provides guidance for specific markets (see below). Additionally, in specific situations, United helps provide protection when other airlines reduce service. Guidance is provided on a case-by-case basis.
