5 REFUSOL delivers performance Top efficiency maximizes revenue Eliminating energy loss and maximizing performance were REFU Solar Electronics primary goals when designing the REFUSOL inverter series. With our highly innovative circuit topology, the REFUSOL series delivers impressive efficiency over a wide input voltage range achieving over 98% maximum efficiency and more than 97% European efficiency. Combine this efficiency with our innovative MPP tracking, optimal PV power harvest, and outstanding part-load efficiency and you will achieve remarkably high yields on each PV installation. Fast and precise MPP-tracking In order to achieve the highest possible power yields, an excellent MPP tracking is of crucial importance. For the REFUSOL series we developed an extremely fast working and precise MPP tracking algorithm reaching a top tracking efficiency of 99.9%. Our new Active Shadow Sweep function detects partial shadow conditions more precisely and our controller adapts accordingly

6 Best in class efficiency Highest efficiency inverters We have developed a highly efficient circuit topology which provides very high efficiency over a wide input voltage range. The highest efficiency zone is exactly at the main operating point of the solar generator, so that peak yields are always guaranteed. These features have been tested and confirmed by several independent institutes including Photon magazine, which gave the REFUSOL an A + performance rating. At low irradiation REFUSOL inverters achieve a very high partial load efficiency grade. Even at 2.5% of nominal performance, more than 90% of the solar current is fed into the grid! 7 Commercial Scale Inverters REFUSOL 012K, 016K, 020K and 024K-UL REFUSOL s commercial scale inverters offering includes UL-listed inverters with 12 to 24 kw power classifications. These innovative 3-phase, transformerless inverters feature a bi-polar design to maximize efficiency. Low power losses across the complete input voltage range allow for convection cooling, which enhances the inverter s compact design. This low power loss reduces heat dissipation, which prevents overheating in indoor installations. Furthermore, should indoor or outdoor temperatures exceed ambient temperature ranges, the REFUSOL will automatically reduce output to avoid overheating. Application Areas: Thin Film to Outdoor Use Due to the negligible voltage fluctuations to ground, REFUSOL s family of transformerless inverters can easily be connected to numerous thin-film module strings. All of our 012K to 024K solar inverters are equipped with IP65 protection, including IP67 plug connectors routed to all connections. This offers ideal applications for outdoor use, such as rooftop, ground mount and non-central solar power installations

8 Utility Scale Inverters REFUSOL 500K and 630K In higher power classes we offer our REFUSOL 500K and 630K utility scale inverters. These inverters incorporate several years of design and engineering experience from other REFU- SOL product lines such as switch control cabinets and traction drives. In these power classes a top efficiency of up to 98% and a European efficiency of 97% (without transformer) can be reached. REFUSOL utility scale inverters are equipped with differentiated cooling (controlled cooling through external water/air heat exchangers). We also use our same innovative MPPT technology for our larger power class inverters. REFUSPB For our solar utility scale customers, we also offer our REFUSOLPowerBox REFUSPB with power ranges from 500 kw to 1.3 MW. REFUSOL 500K and 630K inverters within the REFUSPB are equipped with two alternative cooling systems: a standard cooling system or a hermetically sealed system. Thanks to the high degree of protection that our cooling options provide in extreme temperatures, the REFUSOL utility scale inverters and the RE- FUSPB are especially suitable for use in large PV systems in any environment with demanding climate conditions

9 Unlimited Communication REFULOG We know that yield and performance system monitoring with real time data is of utmost importance to PV system operators. The integrated data logger in every REFUSOL inverter records and tracks all of the necessary operating parameters to ensure proper data analysis. REFULOG, REFU Solar Electronics own monitoring and analysis internet-portal, delivers PV system operators extensive evaluation and display features. We also offer integrated automatic capacity control status monitoring and error reporting with data recorded over extended time periods. Each REFUSOL inverter allows for a direct connection to your local network and the internet. The installation is plug & play and let you evaluate data from an unlimited number of REFUSOL inverters. SunSpec Alliance REFU Solar Electronic is a member of the Sunspec Alliance, which is comprised of solar power components companies, service providers, regulatory agencies and consumers. SunSpec s mission is to accelerate solar energy growth by driving data and communications interoperability standards.
