2 DETAILS OF THE CSPCA NATIONAL SPECIALTY SHOW PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A JUDGE CHANGE FOR FUTURITY/ MATURITY. NEW JUDGE IS CONNIE GARD. AGILITY TRIAL- October 2 The CSPCA Agility Trial will be held at The Net in Palmyra, PA concurrently with the Lancaster Kennel Club. There is a separate trial on Saturday at the same location run by Lancaster Kennel Club. This is a beautiful indoor site on sprint turf with climate control. We are looking for a few volunteers to help run the show on Sunday. AWARDS BANQUET This banquet will be in the Crystal Ballroom. This is where we recognize all the top achieving dogs in our breed, and the people that have gone above and beyond the requirements of their job. Come see who did what with their dogs and put the names with the faces. Time to be announced later. HEALTH SCREENING SERVICES Health screening services will be offered - Tuesday - Saturday only. Services will be located at Terry Faulkner s vendors table. HEALTH SCREENING SERVICES OFFERED OFA Thyroid: The cost will include the Thyroid Test through MI State University, Postage and Handling, OFA Certification Fee. Dogs must be 12 months or older. Cost: $ OFA Patella: The cost will include the Patella Exam Fee, OFA Certification Fee, Processing of Paperwork, Postage and Handling. Dogs must be 12 months or older. Cost: $ AKC DNA Kits: This is a Group Discount, cost will be $40. ALL DNA Kits must be sent in together for us to get this discount. If you would like to parcipate and get your dog AKC DNA tested but your dog will not be at Nationals, PLEASE contact me and I will make special arrangements to get your Kit to and from you.

Time too be announced after the Judgingg Program is finalized. MENTOR/BUDDY PROJECT for NATIONALS Never been to Nationals or been once or twice? Do you go every year but still would like help navigating this annual event? Then I have just the thing for you! I will be matching up Mentorss with Buddies. These mentors will help answer all their buddies questions and explain the workings of the dog show. PUPPY B MATCH- Monday October 3 This match is being put on by the Southeastern Keystone Chinese Shar-Pei Club. Judging starts 15 minutes after OB/Rally Trials end, but no earlier than 5:00PM. Classes offered: 3-6, 6-9, 9-12 & 12-18mos, Open, Veteran. CH & Pro Handlers welcome. Glass Cookie Jar offered for Best In Match. Each entrant will receive a toy. 5 SEMINAR- Dr, Linda Tintle- Wednesday October 5 Come hear Dr. Linda Tintle, DVM from 1-3 on Wednesday afternoon. She will be talking about the updated Information on DNA SPAID Test. She has graciously agreed to present this seminar at our National Specialty Show. She will be updating us on all the latest research news as well as giving information on the genetic test that has been developed to assess individual risk for SPAID which includes Shar-Pei Fever, amyloidosis, otitis and cutaneous vesicular hyaluronosis (bubbles of mucin). You will not want to miss this seminar whether you are a breeder or just interested in the health of the breed. Mark your calendars and plan your schedules so you can attend. Bring all your friends of Pei with you. If you live anywhere near York, Pennsylvania, invite your veterinarians to the seminar. Everyone is welcome. They will be judged by a panel of 3 judges. Prizes will be awarded to the guests with the most creatively decorated masks. Please celebrate with us at this formal attire event. Reservation deadline is September 14, WELCOME PARTY & COSTUME CONTEST- Tuesday Night- October 4 Come join us for another fun filled evening of fellowship and high jinks.
