I am directed to say that the candidates mentioned in Annexure-I to this letter have qualified and selected in Departmental Examination of JAO Part-II under old (DOT) Syllabus, Exam. held on to The names of qualified & selected candidates are arranged in order of the merit. 2. The result has been prepared as per guidelines contained in BSNL HQ, New Delhi letter No / 2005-DE dated i.e. taking into account qualifying marks for OC candidates are be 40% in each subject and 45% in aggregate provided that a minimum 40% is also secured separately in the practical papers answered with the aid of books. The minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST/PH candidates are 33% in each subject and 38% in aggregate provided that a minimum of 33% is also secured separately in the practical papers answered with the aid of books. 3. The candidate mentioned in Annexure-II, though not qualified in the examination, has secured 60% or more marks in the papers mentioned against his name. He is, therefore exempted from appearing in the subject again in the JAO Part-II Exam. to be conducted under old (DOT) syllabus i.e. in the main examination to be held after the Screening Test (Exam held on and result is yet to be declared) as per instructions of BSNL HQ, New Delhi. 4. No grace marks has been awarded to any candidate as per BSNL HQ, New Delhi letter No. 10-4/2006-DE dated endorsed vide this office letter letter No. Rectt/XI-6-2/JAO-II/ /52 dated , since this is not a Qualifying Examination. As such, no candidate has been declared qualified & selected by giving grace marks (Annexure-III). 5. The result of ST candidates detailed in Annexure-IV has been reviewed in the light of parameters received from BSNL HQ, New Delhi vide letter No. 10-4/2006-DE dated endorsed vide this office letter No. Rectt/XI-6-2/JAO-II/Rlg/ /24 dated and declared qualified & selected. The candidate will be en bloc junior to all those candidates who have been declared qualified & selected in normal course as per Annexure-I. Contd. On page -2-

The candidates mentioned in Annexure-V, though have qualified in the examination, but could not be declared selected due to competitive nature of the exam. and non availability of vacancies in the respective category in Rajasthan Circle. Willingness may be called for from such candidates in prescribed proforma as per BSNL HQ, New Delhi letter No. 4-19/2007-SEA/1 dated endorsed vide this office letter dated (P.C. enclosed) and forwarded to this office within 15 days positively. 7. The Rectt. Year to the qualified & selected candidates has been given 2006, as per BSNL HQ, New Delhi letter No /2005-DE dated No vacancy was reserved for PH quota candidates, against Departmental Examination of JAO Part-II under old (DOT) syllabus. 9. The Department reserves the right to cancel the result of any candidate declared qualified & selected by mistake at any time, when such mistake is discovered. 10.
