1 APP CLOCK INTRODUCTION The App Clock is a simple and easy to set LCD clock. Download our free app SyncClock into your Android or ios device. You can set all the clock information with the App and synchronize the settings into the clock. FUNCTIONS 1. Two independent alarms ( alarm 1/alarm 2) 2. Birthday reminder 3. General reminder ( Remind me) 4. Calendar 5. Clock backlight 6. Snooze function for alarms IDENTIFYING APP CLOCK ICONS

2 Icon shown when alarm 1 is enabled. Icon shown when alarm 2 is enabled. Icon shown when the snooze function of the relevant alarm is enabled. This is the birthday reminder icon. The number indicates how many days are left. On the day of the birthday, the number will disappear and the birthday icon will flash. This is the general event reminder icon. The number indicates how many days are left. When the event is reached, the number will disappear and the event icon will flash. The current time displayed.

3 Calendar The SYNC icon will appear 3 seconds after the clock synchronization is successfully completed. SYNCING SETTINGS TO APP CLOCK To synchronize the settings from your phone to the App Clock, please download the SyncClock app from the App or Play store. This will enable you to set your alarm preferences and reminders in the App. HOW TO SYNC SMARTPHONE TO APP CLOCK 1) Open the SyncClock App and leave in the main screen menu, and place on a flat surface. 2) Place the clock on the middle of your Smartphone and press the button located at the top of the device once.

4 3) A blinking white box will appear in the middle of the screen. This indicates that synchronization has started 4) It takes approximately seconds to complete the date synchronization. 5) If the data has successfully synced, this icon will appear followed by a melodic sound. 6) If the synchronization has been unsuccessful, this icon will appear on the device, followed by a long beep. Please note: If the sync has failed, the clock s original setting will not be altered and the user is advised to repeat the process until successful. USING THE SNOOZE FUNCTION. Enabling and disabling the snooze function When the alarm sounds, it will do so for 60 seconds. Press the clock s button to temporarily stop the alarm. The alarm will sound again in approximately 5 minutes. Snooze cycles can be repeated up to 7 times. (30 minutes).

5 This icon appears and flashes during the snooze cycle. Stopping the Snooze function. The Snooze cycles can be stopped by pressing and holding down the clock button for 2-4 seconds during the snooze period. A short beep will sound indicating that the snooze cycle has ended. USING THE BIRTHDAY REMINDER/REMIND ME FUCNTION. This is the schedule reminder function. You can set the event date and a (prior day). The prior day is the number of days in advance to the event scheduled. Example: Birthday is set to May 1 st (the prior days are set to 7) On April 23 rd or before, the clock will not display the birthday icon.

6 From April 24 th to April 30 th the birthday icon will be displayed alongside the number of days left before the birthday. On May 1 st, the birthday icon will flash until the day has passed. CHECKING APP CLOCK SETTINGS. You can check the settings on the App Clock by pressing and holding the button for 2-4 seconds. The alarms and reminders will be displayed one by one, as long as button- hold is not released. BATTERY INSTALLATION

7 1. Gently open the battery compartment, located on the rear side of the unit. 2. Insert 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries according to the correct direction marked inside the battery compartment. BATTERY WARNINGS - Alkaline batteries recommended. - Do not use rechargeable batteries - Newly and used batteries should not be mixed. - Only batteries of the same and equivalent type as recommended should be used. - Keep batteries out of reach of children. - Dispose of exhausted batteries according to local legal requirements. - Do not dispose of them by throwing away with normal household rubbish. 8 Important note for ios users The SyncClock will need to use your phone s microphone control. Please enable in phone setting as shown below.
