5 Train-The-Trainer Courses Genie Lift Pro Train-the-Trainer Courses are designed to help prepare participants to confidently and effectively train others in the safe and proper use of aerial work platforms and telehandlers. Participants will receive the latest training curriculum required for operator qualification and training, as well as an overview on presentation skills and adult learning theory. The course covers the responsibilities of all parties associated with the operation of aerial work platforms as outlined by ANSI, hazard recognition and avoidance, pre-operation inspections, function tests, workplace inspections and safe operation. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate of completion, Genie Lift Pro Trainer card and Genie Lift Pro Operator Training kit which includes all materials necessary to teach an unlimited number of students. Genie Lift Pro courses meet ANSI, OSHA and CSA requirements for operator training. The courses below are offered at Genie Lift Pro Training Centers in Redmond, Washington, Rock Hill, South Carolina and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Courses can also be conducted at your own facility (certain restrictions apply please contact Genie for additional information). Genie Lift Pro Train-the-Trainer classes are two days in length and include Aerial Work Platforms on day one and Telehandler Operator Training on day two. Participants may elect to attend only one day/one product family if desired (see pricing below). Lunch and snacks will be provided each day. All travel, hotel accommodation and meal expenses are the sole responsibility of the participant. 6 Operator Training Courses Genie Lift Pro Operator Training Courses are designed to confidently and effectively train others in the safe and proper use of aerial work platforms and telehandlers. Participants will receive the latest training curriculum required for operator qualification. The course covers the responsibilities of all parties associated with the operation of aerial work platforms as outlined by ANSI, hazard recognition and avoidance, pre-operation inspections, function tests, workplace inspections and safe operation. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate of completion and a Genie Lift Pro Aerial Access Card (AWP) or Telehandler Access Card. Genie Lift Pro courses meet ANSI, ANSI/ITSDF, OSHA and CSA requirements for operator training. The courses are conducted at your own facility (8-person minimum requirement). Genie Lift Pro Operator Training classes are four hours each in length. Participants may elect to attend only one product family or both together if desired (see pricing below). 7 Train-The-Trainer/ Operator Training Kits The Genie Aerial Work Platform and Telehandler Operator Training Kits are available for qualified trainers to use when training operators or other trainers. The kit includes all of the materials required to train an unlimited number of operators, and assists them in satisfying applicable requirements as set forth by ANSI, ANSI/ITSDF, CSA and OSHA standards and regulations. The kits contain a comprehensive Trainer s Guide, reproducible Participant s Guide, video DVD and CD, ANSI Responsibilities Manuals (AWP), sample Operator s Manuals, ten training certificates, ten Aerial Access or Telehandler Access Cards and ten Trainer Cards. 8 Online Operator Training Genie Lift Pro Online Operator Training Courses are high quality professionalgrade programs that are delivered through a web-based platform and are designed to satisfy the general training requirements for aerial work platforms as defined by ANSI, OSHA and CSA, and telehandlers as defined by ANSI/ITSDF, OSHA and CSA. The programs incorporate current adult learning theory and consist of detailed graphics, narration, video and a variety of quizzes that provide a rich and interactive learning environment for the trainee. At the end of the aerial program there is a thirty question exam to verify knowledge retention. The telehandler course consists of a 57 question exam. Upon passing the exam, a certificate of completion is presented as proof of training in preparation for the hands-on portion; after completing the online training, the trainee must receive hands-on familiarization from a qualified person to complete the training process and become a qualified operator. Genie Lift Pro Online Operator Training Courses are offered for Aerial Work Platforms and Telehandlers, and are currently available in English and Spanish.
