2 Definitions and abbreviations: CoC: Certificate of Compliance Unique Id.: the unique identifier that will enable the retailer to trace the product back to the unique CoC in the system. 2

5 Retailer training Search CoC Enter the unique Id if it is available (see following slides for Unique Id information) Click search The available CoC matching the entry appears. Note: Wild card * can be used and will trigger several Certificates to be pulled out. In case the Unique Id is not available or not readable, please contact the adidas-group CPSIA (see last slide for contact information) 5

6 Retailer training Search CoC View the CoC Click on the CoC link on the right a window will automatically open with the CoC in an Acrobat format The file can then be : printed filed sent by . Close the acrobat window and click cancel to access the search page again and proceed with the next search. Logout when your search is done. 6

7 Note: For most products, the Unique Id is the string of characters indicated as PO# This information can be found on most outer cartons, inner box stickers and product hangtags. It is NOT written on labels affixed permanently to the product. All products manufactured BEFORE November 12, 2008 do not fall under the CPSC regulation, thus will sometimes not hold the below information. 7

19 Rockport Footwear: P.O. Number will be used as a unique Id for Rockport products for the Junior s line FL09. It will be found on content labels and box end labels. The P.O. number will be 10 characters long. 19
