Anaerobic respiration is less efficient in ATP production which results in decreased cellular processes and cellular reproduction.

Answer 2: Ions and polar molecules are hydrophilic, and therefore cannot pass through the hydrophobic core of the cell membrane without a transport protein or channel.

The results are shown by the graph. The table below shows the data collected. However, the reaction rate is zero at 85⁰C, suggesting that the enzyme can no longer function as a catalyst at this temperature. The enzyme s functional conformation is stabilized by hydrogen bonds, which can be broken by excessive heat, rendering the enzyme nonfunctional.
