2 NOVA SCOTIA LIQUOR CORPORATION BID INSTRUCTIONS & INFORMATION TENDER NUMBER: SR-42-I Tender to supply the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation with a Sharepoint content migration tool. This tender is for a one-year period with an option to renew for an additional on-year period for a total of two years. 2. The NSLC Policy is to ensure that all firms interested in becoming government suppliers shall be given equitable access to contract opportunities, except that consideration may be shown to Atlantic Provinces suppliers, manufacturers and contractors whenever practical and economically feasible to do so, consistent with The Atlantic Procurement Agreement. 3. Inquiries concerning the specifications are to be directed to Marie MacLeod, Project Manager at: marie.macleod@mynslc.com, unless otherwise stated on the tender form. 4. Quote responses must be directed to Stephen Bayer, Manager - Procurement and Tendering, Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation in a sealed envelope, or package or by fax (902) clearly indicating the tender number and tender closing date. 5. Tenders must be delivered or faxed to the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation prior to tender closing date of December 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm AST. Late quotes received after closing date and time will be disqualified from competition and returned to the bidder. If faxing, our fax machine activity record will govern the receiving date and time. Bidders are urged to reply to specific sections of the quote in the manner requested. All prices quoted are to be in Canadian dollars delivered, duty paid, FOB destination, exclusive of ST. 7. All bids submitted must identify and comply with the specifications requested unless the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation specifically requests an equivalent or alternative. 8. Notification of the successful bidder will be sent to all suppliers immediately after the tender is awarded. 2

3 9. All bid submissions are subject to evaluation after opening and before award of contract. Bids may be evaluated not only on the submitted price but also on quality of goods, delivery, availability of supply, parts, servicing and the capacity of the bidder to meet the requirements of the procurement in accordance with the criteria stated in the bid request documents. On request, unsuccessful bidders are entitled to receive an explanation and a debriefing on their bid submission. All buying activity will attempt to seek out best value, which maximizes the effectiveness and profitability to the Corporation. 10. The Corporation is not obliged to award lowest bid and reserves the right to readdress the requirement, should there be reasonable doubt that prices received are not competitive. The NSLC reserves the right to reject any or all bids. This tender implies no obligation on the NSLC to accept this bid or any bid submitted and has the right to cancel this tender if required. 11. The NSLC reserves the right at any time, with 30 days advance written notice, to cancel the contract with the successful proponent without giving specific reason. 12. All contracts resulting from this tender will be governed under the laws of Nova Scotia. 13. Bidders should ensure that all calculations and totals are correct. If any discrepancies/errors are noted in the evaluation process, the unit price quoted will prevail. All prices must be in Canadian Funds. 14. The Bidder shall indicate on his tender form that he has based his prices on the specifications and all addenda issued during this course of tendering. All pricing is to be quoted in Canadian Funds, with FOB NSLC warehouse, unless otherwise specified. 15. The respondent shall ensure that he has in his possession at the time of submission, all addenda that may have been issued. Confirmation can be obtained by checking the tender document as posted on the Public Tenders website at reference no. SR-42-P Please submit one (1) copy of your response. 17. Late quotes received after the closing date and time will be disqualified from competition and returned to the bidder unopened. 18. Incomplete tenders and tenders that fail to comply with the specification documents will be rejected. 19. Tenders will not be accepted by Changes/amendments to Bid Submissions may be accepted by fax provided they are properly identified by company name, control number and due date and are received by the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation prior to closing date and time. Amendment is to identify change in price only, not revealing the amount of the original bid submitted. Please use the form provided. For example your Amendment must state: 3

The current platform is SharePoint 2010 and must be updated to SharePoint The size of the content migration will be 250 gigabytes. There will be a maximum of 4 persons using the migration tool.
