5 Installation Files available for download Your custom skin includes the following files: Zeus.UMB7.zip Zeus.UMB7.DemoContent.zip This is the installation file This is demo content file Setup files Inside Zeus.UMB7.zip you have: \Containers folder Includes html for containers, explained further on; \ZeusSkinFiles folders Includes other skin files IMPORTANT NOTE: Our themes don t provide demo content as the starter kits available in Umbraco. If you need you can install from Umbraco package Repository the Txt Starter Kit this will create a demo site where you can apply our themes. Installing the package For installing the Zeus skin you will need to follow the next steps. 1. Open Umbraco CMS Back Office; 2. Go to Developer section; 3. Open Packages tree folder and click Install local package option; 4. Search for the package Zeus.UMB7.zip; 5. Accept I understand the security risks associated with installing a local package ; 6. Click Load Package ; 7. Check Accept license and click Install Package. IMPORTANT NOTES: If you are using a trial skin, you may get a warning/conflicts about a dll file; proceed with the installation. If you already have any of our skins installed, you may get some file conflicts you can ignore and install it If you have duplicate files in the Templates sections you have to reset your site. 4

6 Master Templates Master Templates will be added to your Templates folder in Settings section. The number of included master templates depends on each theme. As an example, some skins include a Home master (for the homepage) and an Inner master (for the remaining pages). Apply the Master Page Templates 1. Open/Switch to the Settings section; 2. Expand the Templates tree folder to locate the Zeus Master Templates and select the page layout to apply the master. 3. Change to the Properties tab. 4. Choose your Template (to associate with the desired Zeus master template). 5. Click Save 5

As an example, some skins include a Home master (for the homepage) and an Inner master (for the remaining pages). Apply the Master Page Templates 1.

7 Using Containers This skin includes several containers, that you can use to visually wrap your content. Containers files are located inside the "Containers" folder within the Zeus.UMB7.zip. You just need to extract the folder and open/edit the html files. We recommend that a container be always used to wrap content. If you don t need any style around your content, use container C00_Clean or C00_CleanWPadding. To use a container: 1. Copy the structure inside the html files a. 8 Uninstalling the theme To uninstall the theme we recommend the following procedure: 1. Open Umbraco CMS Back Office; 2. Go to Developer section; 3. Open Packages tree folder and open Installes packages option; 4. Select the package Zeus; 5. In Package options click at Uninstall package ; a. Before you uninstall the package remember to set your pages template to another template not from this theme. Sometimes unistalling the theme don t remove all the resources, so we need to do it manually We need to have access to the server where Umbraco site is installed and check the following directories and remove the remaining files: - [Your Umbraco root]/css/zeus folder and the respective css file - [Your Umbraco root]/views/[all master from the theme] - [Your Umbraco root]/scripts/zeus folder - [Your Umbraco root]/views/partials/bindbreadcrumb.cshtml and Zeus Navigation.cshtml 7

Before you uninstall the package remember to set your pages template to another template not from this theme.

9 Further adjustments Example Content This skin includes some sample content, in areas like: Logo, Language Selection, Sign In/Out, Current User and Links (Read our terms, Read about privacy, Sitemap). Further functionalities can be added as necessary. Remember to use skin pre-defined css styles. Vertical Menu In some themes, after applying the skin, vertical menu may disappear. This might happen when the page doesn t have any content. Menu should appear after adding some content. 8

10 Trial themes For more information on downloading trial themes, please read our knowledge base article: CSS Compression This theme is delivered with compressed CSS files, for performance improvement reasons (making websites load a lot faster). Next to each Zeus.css file you will find a Zeus.uncompressed.css file. In case you need to edit your CSS, or if you just don t want it compressed, you can rename it and use it, instead of the compressed version. This theme includes several other CSS files (for containers mainly). Uncompressed versions will be sent upon request. Troubleshooting Our themes are extensively tested. Nevertheless, as with any software product, occasional issues may occur. Here we list the solution for some common ones.
