The course respond to the Ordinance on the state reguirements for acquiring higher education by educational and qualification degrees Master, Bachelor, Professional Bachelor and the regulations of University. Graduates of Psychology with a degree of Bachelor may continue their studies in Master's in Psychology of Management acquired in a specialized professional field, extended and detailed psychological knowledge in decision making and motivation of their implementation; implementation of business relations, communication, negotiation, types of conflicts in the process of economic activity and ways to resolve them; guidance and management consulting. Master's program graduates acquire skills and competencies to carry out psychological advice in the field of psychology, business management and psychology, psycho-diagnostics and psihoprofilaktika attitudes and motives of individuals in the economy, appropriate selection, structuring, and standardizing the use of psychological instruments for research and forecasting. Master Course Graduates work as professional consultants, experts in companies and manufacturing enterprises; work psychotherapists, employees in departments who plan, organize, manage and evaluate employment and production activities at national and regional level.

By Management psychology course, student will receive certain amount of knowledge about psychological regularities of the manager behavior in a management system. The expectation is that by mastering the fundamental concepts of work (managerial and performance) behavior at the end of the course they will know how: (1) to derive and analyze the overall and differences in the nature and functionality of "organization" and "management" to appear conditionality between individual and group employment behavior. (2) to assess the ability to change the behavior of an individual behavior of colleagues from the team, the organizational structure and culture. () to in practice their skills for interpersonal communication and provision of social influence. 4 Proper orientation of adolescents to appropriate choice of school and absorption of a specific profession, and application specific professional implementation is essential for all socio-economic strata and especially if there is mass unemployment in a market economy. Main objective of management consulting associated with competent assistance that should be on individuals in clarifying how his personal and professional characteristics comply with the requirements of the profession and the conditions for its performance. Professional development like a system; Main stages and periods in the theory of career development in Bulgaria; Basic approaches and concepts; Psychological issues of professional information for orientation students to choose school, profession and make correct job career steps. PSYCHOLOGY OF BUSINESS COMMUNICATION ECTS credits: 7 Lecture: Prof. Vasil Madolev, PhD ; [email protected] Week workload:10+5sem. This course can be conditionally divided into two parts. This first presented psychological conditions for conducting business talk. Reveal its specific features, how to establish, types of reactions, manifested in the statement of the problem. Relatively widely present conditions of acceptance of the manager, while analyzing the approaches, trough that builds and maintain a positive attitude to the manager of performers.the second part of material was connected with specifics of negotiation process. It examines problems relating to the argument of negotiations, their organization, emphasis on tactical line to which should follow the lead negotiations.moreover, it analyzes the problem of public speaking. Particular attention is paid to the plainning of the ways of presenting information, structuring the speech and the role of its individual parts. Dealt with issues such as perceptions of the speaker ways of understanding the theme addressing the audience, and others Characteristics of business communication; Determination of the behavior of individual in business communication; Character of intuition, traits, reconstructing the past behavior,

The course in Psychology of Economic Power includes the following modules of content: 1) Theories for economic power; 2) Personal and psychological characteristics related to powerful relationships; ) Psychological characteristics of unemployment and poverty. The goals of the subject Psychology of Economic Power are: to present research that will improve understanding of behavioral, especially socio-psychological, aspects of economic phenomena and processes; to provide information with respect to behavioral science methods for the study of economic behavior, and so to contribute to better solutions of financial problems, by stimulating new approaches and new theorizing about economic affairs. Psychology of economic power as a discipline studies the psychological mechanisms that underlie consumption and other economic behavior. It deals with preferences, choices, decisions, and factors influencing these, as well as the consequences of decisions and choices with respect to the satisfaction of financial needs. This includes the impact of external economic phenomena upon human behavior and well-being. The major fields of interest are unemployment and poverty; economic dependence and economic independence, taxation, economic development, as well as consumer information and economic behavior in the market place. Contemporary theories in Psychology of Economic Power; Psychological Aspects of Economic Power and Economic Dependence; Socio-economic Dependence and Social Parasitism; Attitudes toward Economic Dependence-Independence; Psychological-economic theories of unemployment and poverty, еct.

The course in Management of Consumer Behavior includes the following modules of content: 1) Personality of consumer; 2) Consumer Behavior; ) Marketing strategy for sales management.the goals of the subject Management of Consumer Behavior are: to clarify basic notions, theories, and essence of consumer activity; to provide the specialist knowledge of this area, and the opportunity to integrate approaches to this area from different disciplines; to enhance competency in understanding and applying a range of methods and research tools, and research management skills including managing data and disseminating research in ways consistent with professional practice in the field of applied psychology. The course provides an integration of psychological theoretical approaches of standard business and marketing models. Student will develop a sound understanding of consumer behavior and the environmental and psychological factors that influence consumer choice. On completion of the course student will be able to critically evaluate psychological theories and techniques and assess their potential for use in appropriate business situations. They will also be able to critically analyze marketing strategies and problems from consumer psychology perspective in order to provide a range of financial solutions. The course in Psychology of the conflict situations aims to give a certain amount of knowledge related to the characteristics of the various social conflicts, the regularities of their origin, course and possible solution and to reveal the psychological characteristics of the involved parts in the conflict. Conflict type, characteristics, nature, content; Stages in the conflict situation development; Dependence style of reactions from type of personality; Professional role of psychologist in conflict situation between workers; Management decisions for conflict situation release. Aim of the course "MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP" is to provide systematic information on some theories about leadership. Proposed interventions for improving the leadership effectiveness depend on the assumptions of the theories of leadership behavior. This course is related to discuss the problems on the influence, power, politics and cross culturally government.

CONTENT OF THE SYLLABUS The goals of the subject Organozational Psychology are to help students at the end of the course be able to: analyze the functioning of the institution; to assess the possibilities for personal and group behavioral changes; to analyze the organizational structure and culture; to compare different models of labor behavior of individuals, groups and organizational levels of analysis.

The goals of the subject Psychology of interpersonal communications are: students should acquire a system of theoretical knowledge about the interpersonal relationships and their professional preparation; team-work skills to be acquired to be acquired; respect for others to be shown. The subject Psychology of interpersonal communications is related to the other psychological subjects Social psychology, Personality psychology, and Psychology of communication. 11 : This course includes the following content modules: 1) Basic aspects of the therapeutic process 2) Coping techniques ) Application of the psychotherapeutic method in modern society Aims of the course Psychotherapeutic Techniques and Psychological Consulting - To explain the basic aspects of the psychotherapeutic process - To present the major stages of each therapeutic process. - That the students learn about the major types of psychotherapeutic techniques their essence, their common aspects and the differences between them, as well as the fields of application - Develop skills for practical application of the psychotherapeutic method as a whole and of the separate therapies, more specifically in modern society. As a subject, psychotherapeutic techniques and psychological consulting is related to all other psychological subjects which are related to the psychological therapy and psychological consulting.
