Niké Civic Association organizes and provides activities in the cultural sphere as for example (supported by City of Prague, Prague Congress Centre and the Ústí nad Labem Region) non-commercial art exhibition Artmeetpoint 2014, 3

4 INTENTION_ Project_ CARGO GALLERY floating multifunctional center Specification_ Reconstruction from functional cargo motor ship to floating multifunctional center Niké What CARGO GALLERY is about_ Cargo motor ship named Niké will offer all visitors varied cultural program across the Elbe river (specialy in Ústí nad Labem (CZ), Děčín (CZ), Dresden (DE) etc.) and across the Vltava river during the summer in Prague, Czech Republic. CARGO GALLERY ship_ Air conditioned 300 m 2 space for concerts, theater, exhibitions, video projections etc. Gallery and Cargo Café Sun deck for concerts and artistic performances Toilets, rooms for stuff etc. Barrier-free design 4

7 PROJECT SCHEDULE_ 2014 Reconstruction of Niké Reconstruction of the ship that won the selection procedure started in 2014 in Nova shipyard - české loděnice a.s. in Křešice, Ústí nad Labem region, Czech Republic. Ship reconstruction was started by modification of the steel framework. External and internal equipment was installed during the end of the year The whole project of the ship Niké reconstruction and retrofitting to CARGO GALLERY center is planned to be done till 31 st March Niké association agenda October - January: Artmeetpoint 2014 ( In Prague Congress Center, CZ April: Cargo Art (Ustí nad Labem, CZ) and Cargo Jam (Ústí nad Labem, CZ) Hallo Cargo (Pirna and Dresden, DE) May: Air Show (Roudnice nad Labem, CZ) June: United Islands festival (Prague, CZ) Summer: PRAHOU festival (Prague, CZ) September: Labe-Elbe conference (Hřensko, CZ) Cargo Efekt, the exhibition of czech design (Ústí nad Labem, CZ) October: Czech-Saxon days (Ústí nad Labem, CZ and Dresden, DE) 7

9 TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION_ Ship Niké originally served as a towed boat called Amanda manufactured in years In 60 s about 10 of these boats were upgraded with powerful diesel engines and started operating as motor ships marked type M-O nicknamed Emka. Length: 68 m Width: 8,2 m Weight: 230 t Load line mark: 0,4 m Capacity: 725 t Engines: 2x 256 PS, Horovice The ship was completely examined by Czechoslovak Lloyd Association and was found eligible for the reconstruction to meet the set project objectives. Estimated Capacity: Concert 320 people Theater 130 people Cafe 50 people Sunlight deck 90 people (organized as a cafe) 9
