Maurice in relation to the church and society of his time. Topics will include doctrine of sacrifice, place of the Bible in church life, Christian ethics, Christian socialism, and Anglican self-understanding. After six classes of lectures and class discussions, students will present a seminar on a selected book by Maurice. Term paper. Maurice Explain why Maurice was often criticised and often lionized in British theological circles Give a detailed account of one of F.D.
