2 About the Drupal Dev Days Drupal Dev Days (aka DDD) are an annual conference where Drupal developers gather to discuss and present topics technically relevant to the Drupal community. The event hosts sprints, intensive coding sessions devoted to squashing bugs, upgrading modules, start and/or complete development tasks. It is an event organized by the Drupal community which gathers people from across Europe who develops and works with Drupal. Started in 2010 in Munich, the DDD, travels every year through different cities and this time the chosen city is Milan! The Drupal Dev Days are a good opportunity for work shoulder to shoulder with other developers who cultivates the same interests and passion.

4 The conference agenda Drupal Dev Days will be held in Milan from 21st to 26th June 2016, every day from 9am to 6pm at the. Sessions (June 23-25) A three-days-long set of presentations focused on Drupal, PHP and web development. As with other Drupal community events, the focus of Drupal Dev Days is on sharing experiences with other attendees, eager to learn about the latest tricks, best practices, tools, and whatever can take the Drupal Developer skills and productivity to the next level. Sprints (June 21-26) Another sharing opportunity that community events offer to Drupal people is the chance to code along with peers and colleagues for long, fun days. They will be mentored by experienced developers who will offer helpful insights to beginners. Remember: sprints are not only for Drupal coders! Also people with little knowledge of Drupal s internals can contribute with testing, design and documentation.

5 The conference agenda Social activities You will be able to hang out randomly with other attendees in the venue s common spaces, but we re planning also some organized activities that will make your stay in Milan even more fun and interesting. BOFs For the unconference-style die-hard fans, spaces will be available to organize informal meetings and sessions where people can discuss a common Drupal-related matter of interest.

6 The Venue The was founded as autonomous organization on June, 10th In the Times Higher Education rankings 2015 dedicated to the best hundred universities with less than 50 years, the University was ranked 24th in the world, 1st in Italy. The conference will take place in the U7 Building in Via Bicocca degli Arcimboldi , Milan, Italy.

13 Terms and Conditions The Drupal Italia Association The event is organized by the Drupal Italia Association - hereinafter referred to as ADI -, a not-for-profit association dedicated to spread the knowledge and usage of Drupal on the Italian territory. Order of precedence Since every sponsorship package has a limited number of slots, precedence is given to the latest writing in time between the parties on the same subject matter. Payments and Terms For sponsorships, a minimum of half the amount owed must be paid no later than 60 days from the event and the remainder within 15 days before the event. Failure to do so may result in being turned away from the event. For advertising, the amount must be paid in full prior to publication. An official written agreement must be held between ADI and the sponsoring firm. Payment must be made directly to ADI by the sponsoring firm in the contract.

14 Terms and Conditions Use of Funds The ADI will use the Sponsorship funds to cover its costs and the costs of its volunteers and agents in connection with organizing, promoting, and operating the DDD2016. Any excess remaining after these costs are paid may be used by the ADI for its unrestricted general support. Eligible Sponsors Sponsors will encompass those companies or other entities offering materials, products or services of specific interest to attendees as determined by ADI in its sole discretion. ADI also reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any company specific marketing campaign before distribution. Only the company whose name appears on the face of the spon contract may be placed in print and pre-outlined sponsorship recognition opportunities. Sub-Leasing - Sponsorship Sharing No sponsor shall reassign, sublet or share the whole or any part of the sponsorship parameter allotted to the contracting firm without written permission from ADI prior to the recognition opportunities taking action.

15 Terms and Conditions Sponsorship Packages Prices quoted include all items listed in the sponsorship proposal and signed contract. Packages and prices can be modified, upon agreement between the sponsor and the ADI, because of logistic deadlines or requirements. Cancellation of Sponsorship In the event that written notification of intent to cancel is received at least 60 days prior to the event/publication, this sponsorship agreement will be canceled but all sums paid will NOT be refunded. Decorations ADI shall have full discretion and authority over the placing, arrangements, and appearance of all items displayed by sponsor, and may require the replacing, rearrangement, or redecorating of any item or of any sponsorship announcement, and no liability shall attach ADI for costs that may devolve upon the sponsor thereby. Acceptability of Advertisements ADI reserves the right to refuse placement of any Advertisement that it believes to be injurious to the purpose of the publication.

16 Terms and Conditions Photography / Disclosure The photographic rights for the events sponsored or items the sponsoring company has agreed to be reserved to ADI. By signing the sponsoring contract, the sponsoring company agrees to distribution of the undersigned company in outlined contractual circumstances as well as liberal discretion of ADI to utilize photography of their event and sponsor company name and logo presence for all other purposes as ADI sees fit. Damage to Properties The sponsor is liable for any damage caused by its representatives to building floors, walls or columns or to other sponsors and/or property. Sponsor Conduct The distribution of samples, souvenirs, publications, etc. may be conducted by the sponsor only with written approval of ADI. The sponsor shall conduct and operate its sponsorship (if a physical element exists) so as not to annoy, endanger or interfere with the rights of other exhibitors, sponsors and attendees. Any practice resulting in complaints from any other exhibitor, sponsor or any attendee, that in the opinion of ADI interferes with the rights others or exposes them to annoyance or danger, may be prohibited by ADI.

17 Terms and Conditions Cancellation or postponement of the even and/or any initiative outlined in the sponsorship contract In the event that the premises in which the event or outlined sponsorship initiative is or is to be conducted shall become, in the sole discretion of ADI, unfit for occupancy, or in the event the holding of the event and or sponsorship initiative or the performance of ADI under the contract (of which these Rules and Regulations are a part) are substantially or materially inferred with by virtue of any cause or causes not reasonably within the control of ADI, said contract and/or event or initiative (or any part thereof) may be terminated by ADI. ADI shall not be responsible for delays, damage, loss, increased costs or other unfavorable conditions arising by virtue of cause or causes not reasonably within the control of ADI. If ADI terminates said contract (or any part thereof) as aforesaid, then ADI may retain such part of an sponsor fee as shall be required to recompense it for expenses incurred up to the time such contingency shall have occurred, and there shall be no further liability on the part of either party.

18 Terms and Conditions For purposes hereof, the phrase cause or causes not reasonably within the control of ADI shall include, but shall not be limited to, fire; casualty; flood; epidemic; earthquake; explosion or accident; blockade embargo; inclement weather; government restraints; restraints or orders of civil defense or military authorities; acts of public enemy; riot or civil disturbance; strike; lockout, boycott or other labor disturbance; inability to secure sufficient labor; technical or other personnel failure; impairment or lack of adequate transportation facilities; inability to obtain, condemnation, requisition or commandeering of necessary supplies or equipment; local or state laws, ordinances, rules orders, decrees, or regulations whether legislative, executive or judicial, and whether constitutional or unconstitutional; or any other occurence out of ADI s control.

19 Terms and Conditions Limitation on Liability The sponsor agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless ADI, the event facility, the owner of such facility, and the city in which this event is being held, and their respective officers, agents and employees, from and against all bodily and personal injury, loss, claims, or damage to any person or any property arising in any way from the sponsoring company, its employees, agents, licensees, contractors or customers. ADI shall not be responsible for loss or damage to displays or goods belonging to sponsors, whether resulting from fire, storms, acts of god, air conditioning or heating failure, theft, pilferage, mysterious disappearance, bomb threats or other causes. Resolution of Disputes In the event of a dispute or disagreement between: the sponsor and ADI or between two or more sponsors; all interpretations of the rules governing the sponsorship contract, actions, or decisions concerning this dispute or disagreement by ADI intended to resolve the dispute or disagreement shall be binding on the sponsor.

20 Terms and Conditions Amendment to the rules Any matters not specifically covered by the preceding rules shall be subject solely to the discretion of ADI. ADI shall have full power in the matter of interpretation, amendment and enforcement of all said rules and regulations, and any such amendments when made and brought to the notice of the exhibitor shall be and become part hereof as though duly incorporated herein and subject to each and every one of the terms and conditions herein set forth. Default If the sponsor defaults in any of its obligations under this contract or violates any of its obligations or covenants under this contract, including without limitation any sponsorship Rule or Regulation promulgated pursuant to the contract, ADI may, in addition to any other remedies provided for herein or otherwise available to ADI at law or in equity, without notice, terminate this agreement and retain all monies received on account as liquidated damages. ADI may thereupon direct the sponsor or forthwith to remove its employees, agents and representatives, and all of its articles of merchandise and other personal property from the specified sponsored event and location.

21 Terms and Conditions Agreement to the rules The sponsor, for itself and its employees, agents and representatives, agrees to abide by the foregoing rules and by any amendments that may be put into effect by ADI. Exclusivity ADI events are offered to all potential sponsors without exclusivity. ADI has sole discretion as to any changes in the policy and will disclose those changes to any and all relevant sponsors prior to the sponsor contract remittance. Acceptance Once the sponsor signs the Sponsorship Contract and returns it to ADI, all Rules and Regulations are officially in effect. This agreement shall not be binding until accepted by ADI.
