2 Human Focus is a unique web-based compliance support service for health and safety that will both help to improve risk management and cut costs. Human Focus is provided either at no cost, or is heavily subsidised, as part of your AIG insurance policy. Health & safety compliance does not have to be a costly nightmare The dual benefits of cost reduction and business improvement are partly achieved via the use of the latest web technologies. Costly administrative processes are automated; training is delivered on demand; and easy to use risk management tools can be accessed, for example, via mobile phones or other portable devices. 3 Human Focus is a combination of a web-based system supported via a UK call-centre. Each organisation is assigned their own highly secure online password protected account. The web-application provides both an E-learning (training) system along with risk management tools for completing tasks such as risk assessments. This is a flexible service that can be moulded to suite needs of any organisation - whatever the size or activity. A service that helps you to comply - at low cost and with minimal disruption Larger employers may want to selectively use training courses to fill gaps in existing arrangements. Conversely, smaller organisations may wish to use all aspects to build from scratch a risk management system. However the system is used, trained operatives are on-hand to help you set-up and run the account. Health and safety specialists are also available via this helpline to answer specific questions or concerns.

4 Human Focus provides a powerful risk management module that assists with the completion of tasks such as risk assessments. For example, a suite of online risk assessment templates cover a wide range of hazard areas and makes the maintenance of necessary records straightforward. These online forms can also be accessed via any webenabled phone or PDA device to support workplace based assessments. 7 All Human Focus training courses are independently accredited by The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). This means that RoSPA have checked and assured the technical content of the courses and that trainees receive a nationally recognised training award. RoSPA accredited training provides universal recognition & benchmarking When trainees complete each training course they receive a RoSPA accredited certificate. The system enables trainees to build a training portfolio that will be widely recognised. This independent accreditation by RoSPA is unique they do not accredit any other E-learning system offering this range of training courses. Currently, Human Focus is believed to be the only E-learning system with this type of independent accreditation via a nationally recognised safety body.
