How much more he s learned about instruments, about collaboration with a team, about music and songs in general, about interpersonal communication I could go on it s amazing. He already knew Band (trumpet) was his thing, but now he sees such a bigger picture. He now talks about forming a Rock & Roll band w/some friends! Mark Galbo, Founder and CEO of RRA Intervention Specialist Teacher came to facilitator and said, "I think Charlie belongs in this class." Charlie, as it turns out, is struggling and not engaged anywhere in the school. He came into RRA and was so nervous and excited he could barely speak. "My friends have been telling me about this, he said, and I want to come and join the class." He pulled his cell phone from his pocket and said, "I made a recording and I want to play it for you. I'm not going to lie, there's some bad words in here." Jera smiled and said, "Oh, like I've never (used) swear words before." He got the joke, relaxed, and proceeded to play a fairly sophisticated recording he had made on his computer. He used a synthesizer and drum loops. His friend sang.. Charlie s a natural..
