1 JOB DESCRIPTIONS 1) Head, Risk Policy & Analytics - To formulate policy framework for over all management of Risk at the enterprise level including Market, Liquidity, Operational risk. To provide a three dimensional risk review function, update management through different analytical techniques and help management to make Informed Decision Making (IDM) - To carry out operational risk reviews of new and existing processes with the help of business owners and highlight to the management high risk process gaps through an approved risk assessment model. - Regular monitoring of Market risk by using appropriate statistical models where required. Review and update policies and procedures on Risk Management in the light of changing international and local conditions. Perform Stress test. - To work closely with finance and compliance on the implementation of Basel II, by providing timely inputs regarding the implementation of B2 at BIPL. To provide key inputs to senior management on developing the ICAAP procedures. - Lead, train and motivate associates in the Risk Management Department for achieving desired results. To ascertain the needs of training of staff and recommend to HR for training courses. Appraisal of the performance of staff and to recommend for their promotions and increments. Essential: Desirable: Bachelor MBA with CFA or FRM certifications 5 Year plus (preferably at managerial level) Ability to understand and form opinions on the businesses and their strength by reading beyond financial statements. Knowledge of the local business. Familiar with or willing to learn quantitative techniques.
2 2) Branch Manager - Achieve sales and business targets on the agreed plan. - Enhance and maintain good customer relationship so as to solicit business opportunities by pro actively rendering best-in-class service and cross-selling of the banking products. - Processing data to produce accurate facts, figures and reports. Managing sales, costs and resources for maximum value against plan. - Being clear and effective and motivating the team & individuals via excellent communication - Communicating, implementing and monitoring compliance with corporate standards and procedures - Hiring, training and supervising all staff that works within the Bank. Completing all necessary security checks and reference checks for potential employees in close coordination with HR. Essential :Graduate Degree Total 6 years in banking which includes a minimum of 4 years experience as a branch manager position in a bank. 3) Liability Sales Manager - Achievement of assigned sales target as per the branch category as mentioned in the cross selling memo. - Solicitation of business (New To Bank customers) and deepening of existing relationship. - Conduct of dealings as per the sales code of conduct. - Responsible for target achievement of their team - To Supervise the BE's reporting to the WM and guide them to achieve their targets Essential :Graduate Degree Minimum 03 year experience in Sales & Marketing. 4) Business Development Officer - Achievement of assigned sales target as per the branch category as mentioned in the cross selling memo. - Solicitation of business (New To Bank customers) and deepening of existing relationship. - Conduct of dealings as per the sales code of conduct. Essential :Undergraduate 6 months to 1 year experience in Sales & Marketing.
3 5) Relationship Manager - New Business Development in Corporates and SME to buildup Credit Portfolio - Coordinate with RO to make credit line proposal, initial documents and liaise with client to complete all the documents as per bank policy. - Complete for pre / post approval formalities including follow up with clients for smooth payback, keeping profitability of the bank upto the targets, monitoring repayments, client's business growth updates and monitor quality of delivering services to customers. - Monitoring the Credit and Ijarah portfolio conducting Audit/ Compliance/shariah Audit targeting minimum error based audit. - Responsible for any other work assigned by Head of Department. Essential: Master's degree in Business Administration 6 to 8 Years Experience in Financial Marketing. Good Relationship in Market, Presentable, Good Communication Skills, Understanding of Islamic Financial Products. 6) Relationship Officer - Develop and expand the customer base and increase the corporate banking product volume by presenting strategies/ideas tailored to all or specific needs. - Ensure timely and accurate execution of credit proposals for onward submission to credit committee - Coordinating with existing customers and maintaining relationship with them. - Coordinate compliance, credit, External Audit, Shariah Audit and regulatory matters. - Liasion with other departments in order to carry out smooth flow of transaction. Essential: Preferably post graduate degree in Commerce/Finance or Economics Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant department. -Able to work under pressure -Strong business orientation with ability to take correct decisions. -Flexible personality with high energy level.
4 7) Manager Operations - Assume overall responsibility of the operations function of the Branch including: front-end account opening; FC handling; Remittances and funds transfers; Lockers; Stop payments; Deceased Accounts; Cash & Teller Functions; Front-end activities related to International Remittances; and Branch Administration & Security - Perform the duties of Branch Line Compliance Officer (BLCO) that includes adherence of SBP instructions as mentioned in Duty 1; Timely & accurate response of Compliance department queries; Ensure Anti-Money Laundering & KYC policies are being addressed; Carry out any other tasks relevant to the assignment as communicated by the Head of Compliance from time to time. - Ensure the branch achieves Target Zone scores in monthly Internal Service Measures. - Maintain good working relationships with the Branch Manager. Also maintain close contacts with the Regulator's offices (SBP, NBP, NIFT) linked to his branch. - Supervision of all transactions above the supervision limits of Customer Service Executives (CSEs); Ensure regulatory compliance as well as compliance to all Policies & Procedures Manuals of the Bank (as circulated from time to time) including Business Continuity guidelines; Serve as stand-in branch manager when required; Ensures judicious and timely performance appraisals of Operations associates in his branch. Essential : At least Graduate Desirable: Postgraduate At least 2 years in similar position Timely opening and closing of the branch books / counters in accordance with regulatory requirements. 8) CD In-Charge - To be able to perform as back-up to CSM (Branch Operations Manager) - Supervise transactions including cash, clearing, remittances, utility bills, internal transfers; Refer higher value transactions to CSM - Oversee the AML / KYC compliance and report to CSM - Account opening and AML / KYC data collection while following the Policies & Procedures Manual on Accountopening and AML / KYC guidelines of the Bank - Upkeep of all files and documents for Internal, External, and SBP Audits Essential: Graduation preferably in Commerce At least 2 years' experience in similar position with a commercial bank and must have the ability to move up in the organization. Timeliness in opening and closing of cash tills reaching office at least 15 minutes before the official opening of branch 9) Universal Teller - Maintenance of high quality customer service with zero defect rate. - Adherence to Cash Management rules and guidelines - Compliance to Internal Control guidelines and policies - Conducting cash transportation and delivery process and its documentation. - Smooth conduct of remote banking services Essential : Inter Science with mathematics / statistics as one of the course subjects At least 2 years in similar position
5 Timeliness in opening and closing of cash tills reaching office at least 15 minutes before the official opening of branch 10) Officer, Takaful Operations - Responsible for Review and Scrutiny of Takaful Coverage requests from branches. - Responsible for Coverage on Addition of Assets and Relocation of Assets. - Responsible for Intimation of Claim and lodgment of cheques received against settlement of claim. - Responsible for Filing and Record Keeping of Takaful Policies, Endorsements, Debit Notes and other related documents Essential : Minimum Graduate At least 1 year in similar position 11) Software Developer - Having expertise on oracle, sybase database. - MIS Report, Financial report development experience. - Programming language, OOPS concepts - Work with Project implementation team. - Ensure Quality Control and Assurance procedures are consistent with project specifications, client requirements and corporate policies. - Develop and manage the preventive maintenance programs for these systems including: patching, upgrades, tuning, performance management, etc. - Lead technical staff, vendors and consultants to identify and resolve complex problems. Essential : Minimum Graduate At least 1 year in similar position 12) Information Security Analysts - Develop Information Security Policies, Standards, and Guidelines, - Disseminate written policies and procedures related to compliance activities, - Assist with responding to Information Security incidents, - Develop the Information Security Awareness Program, - Provide planning and review of information systems to ensure compliance with company security policies and security best practices, Lead information security audits and assessments across the company, Disseminate written policies and procedures related to compliance activities, - Review or modify policies and guidance to comply with changes to SBP Regulation Essential: Minimum Graduate in Computer Sciences At least 2 to 3 year with relevant knowledge and skills.
6 13) Credit Analyst - Credit Analysis - Preparation of Credit proposals for onward submission to Management Credit Committee. Carry out fundamental analysis regarding industry, client's background, structure of requested facilities, borrowing entitlement, financial analysis of the account & client's banking relationship with other bankers. - Check the credentials of the customer as per Bank's own Credit Policy Manual & SBP Prudential Regulations. - Acquire adequate technical expertise to run the software being used to generate the credit risk rating of the borrowers. Adjust Obliger's credit rating to the borrowers on any other additional quantitative and qualitative information. - Conduct primary & secondary research about the allocated sectors. Prepare short reports on sectors to be presented to Management Credit Committee along with the credit request pertaining to a particular sector. : Essential: Minimum BBA or MBA At least 1 to 2 years with relevant knowledge and skills 14) Officer, Budget & MIS - Preparation of workings for annual Budget. Gather/ Compile information/ Data necessary for the preparation of annual Budget. - Prepare Budget projections. - Conduct Variance Analysis Actual verses budget. - Preparation of revisions in Budgeted numbers Essential : Masters degree in Finance or CA Finalist / ACCA At least 2 to 4 years with relevant knowledge and skills 15) Senior Manager, Legal - Filing of entire litigation cases in courts as attorney of bank. - Monitoring progress of cases and liaison with external lawyers. - Finalization of various instruments, bank guarantee, MOTD, GPA, undertakings, agreements etc. - Legal vetting of property documents. - Acting as an attorney of Bank. - Timely reporting of matters as per regulatory requirements. Essential : Minimum Law Graduate At least 6 to 8 years with relevant knowledge and skills 16) Manager, Legal - Managing legal documentations and maintaining proper MIS of all the cases. - Follow up with internal and external entities for proper conduction of cases. - Preparation of various internal reports for review of superiors and regulatory authorities - Reviewing disbursement files and executing agreements as attorney of the bank. : Essential: Minimum Law Graduate At least 4 to 6 years with relevant knowledge and skill
7 17) Senior Manager, Compliance (Baluchistan Region) - Ensure all the activities of the region are in compliance with relevant laws & regulations as issued by SBP & other regulatory authorities. - Develops, implement and manages compliance monitoring tools and control processes for ensuring that legal and regulatory obligations are met. - Conduct compliance review of branches to ensure no deviation from regulatory requirements. - Managing training program of AML/CFT in coordination with HR department : Essential: Minimum Graduate preferable is Masters. At least 6 to 8 years with relevant knowledge and skills 18) Manager, FATCA - Conducting entity scoping and product scoping - Review existing witholding capabilities and identify incremental requirements. - Development of FATCA compliance policy - Review existing processes and systems to assess whether FATCA on-boarding requirements can be integrated Essential : Minimum Graduate preferable is Masters. At least 5 years with relevant knowledge and skills 19) Manger, Audit North & South ( 2 Positions) - Primarily responsible for conducting audit of all areas of banking and simultaneous evaluation of adequacy of procedures and practices followed by branches in conformity with the bank's policies, laws and regulations. - Possess strong understanding of internal control and be able to identify control weaknesses. - Should manage the team showing leadership qualities and capable of delivering within assigned time. - Should be adequately equipped with knowledge of system to support audit assignments. Essential : Masters degree in Finance or CA Finalist / ACCA At least 6 to 8 years with relevant knowledge and skills
