2 AnyBackup Family Adhering to the idea of "All-in-One Protection", EISOO creatively released AnyBackup Family which covers series of hardware and software products including EISOO AnyBackup Appliance and EISOO AnyBackup Software. 5 Data Protection (DP) Zero-data-loss CDP Compared with the regular backup and restore of traditional solutions, AnyBackup Appliance provides CDP (Continuous Data Protection) also. It finely-grained captures the data generated to achieve real-time protection. It reduces the backup window and ensures any time-point restore as well. Furthermore, multiple restore ways are provided, such as browse to restore and instant restore to ensure the availability of restore data with lower RPO. 6 Optimized Source-based Data Deduplication Note: the test device is VX 1200 with data amount of 400G, and full backup for each. Data deduplication is a data compression technology which is based on hash algorithm. It contrasts and recognizes the reduplicated data blocks by local blocking and then transfers the only data block. Source data deduplication based on data type is adopted by AnyBackup Appliance which means to optimize the computing amount of deduplication by data type. Or data block threshold can be configured according to actual data environment to ensure its efficiency and result. By this technology, users can gain lower backup window, smaller bandwidth pressure, less storage space, more flexible deployment and more optimized performance.
