5 RESEARCH INTERESTS My research interests focus in the interaction of mass rail transit, urban infrastructure design and construction methods. Other interests include, project management, design build, sustainable architecture, construction (green building) and design construction, visualization and emerging technology uses of Building Information Model (BIM) program. The main research aim is to study and plan how the regional urban structure influences local level accessibility, use of public services, mass transit, and community well being, as well as how those affect the built environment with travel decisions. The focus builds on previous work and studies of mass transit, land use implications of transit oriented development, and neighborhood socioeconomic trends. This work lays the foundation for my research and publications investigating on urban planning and community development, thus finding the best alternative use of mass rapid transit on major U.S. metropolitan cities. This research study will provide a model for options of mass transit planningdesign construction, of existing local urban cities and growing cities worldwide.
