UH TCCNS page: State TCCNS page (can compare schools): UH Engineering TCCNS page: go to page below and select Engineering Current UH engineering students cannot take engineering courses at other institutions without prior permission. UH Academic Honesty Policy Violations will result in sanctions up to expulsion from the University. Turn off your cell phone and put it in your backpack during exams! Limit on In-state Tuition for Texas Residents Applies to all in-state students who enrolled at Texas public college or university Fall 1999 or later. All courses (including W grades) at all state schools count. For BSCE degree admitted Fall 2006 or later: hit limit at =160. Then extra $100 per credit hour. University of Houston Core Curriculum Don t assume a course is core; check the list! There are alternate ways to satisfy history and government cores than those on the BSCE degree plan flowchart. Honors College students: follow Honors Program guidance on core. Core courses listed at: Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Core Web Center Core courses at all schools: If course is core at one Texas public school it is core at all schools. If core complete at one public Texas college or university, core complete at all: Honors College Small-college environment inside large university: offers best of both worlds to UH s most academically talented students. Engineering honors students must meet with Department advisor (not just Honors advisor).
