6 University of Maryland, College Park (UMD) -Cyber Advanced Cybersecurity Experience for Students (ACES) Inaugural class began in the fall of 2013, with unique and sustained involvement from the Northrop Grumman Corporation, the University of Maryland s Advanced Cybersecurity Experience for Students (ACES) will be the nation s first undergraduate honors program in cybersecurity, representing a new model for cybersecurity education students will enroll each year in this living-learning program, which will offer an intensive, interdisciplinary, accelerated curriculum in key technical, policy, behavioral and social science components of cybersecurity. Funded $1.2M from Northrop Grumman Foundation 6
7 Cyber Scholars - University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Began Fall 2013, the Scholarship program will support students annually with financial awards of $5,000-15,000 per year. Scholarship program that fosters a community through common on-campus living-learning housing, events, and activities.
