6 6 BEG Training Center Program 2014 Training structure The Training Center s modular program structure offers the ideal solution for all levels of training from a one-day basic training course to an intensive four-day seminar. In each case, the knowledge provided ranges from the physical basics and system components to the functions of the ECU software. Training courses on bus systems provide an in-depth insight into the relevant communication protocols. The training content is regularly extended and adapted to new developments. Venue Trainings take place at Bosch Engineering GmbH in Abstatt in German language. English trainings on request. Customized in-house seminars in English or German can also be arranged for groups of eight or more. The content is based on our wide range of seminars. 37 BEG Training Center Program Terms and Conditions Bosch Engineering and Bosch provide these training courses to support their customers with system information on Bosch engine controls for diesel engines. Participants from other areas require express permission from the Diesel Systems division of Robert Bosch GmbH, which we will happily request for you. The number of participants is limited to ensure the seminars are conducted efficiently. We therefore recommend registering at the earliest possible opportunity. Additional dates will be offered if demand is sufficiently great. Conditions of Registration and Participation To register, please complete the attached registration form and send it no later than seven days before the start of the relevant event to fax number +49 (0) or it to Your registration becomes binding upon receipt at Bosch Engineering. Unfortunately, it is not possible to register or make reservations by telephone. Registrations will be processed in the order of receipt. Once registration is received, the participant will receive written confirmation of the booking or notification that the requested date is fully booked. Approximately four weeks before the start of the event, the participant will receive an invitation containing all the organizational information (time, venue and travel directions). 38 38 BEG Training Center Program 2014 Terms and Conditions Terms of Payment and Cancellation You will receive an invoice for the course fee after the event. Part-time participation does not entitle you to a reduction of the fee. Payment must be made net within 30 calendar days of the date of invoice. It is possible to cancel up to 28 days before the start of the event without incurring a charge. Cancellations after this date or, in case of no-show, the participation fee will be charged in full. We are happy to accept a substitute participant at any time without charging additional fees. All cancellations must in writting. Bosch Engineering reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the seminar or parts thereof seven days before the start of the event if there are insufficient participants or if events occur that make holding the seminar unviable for technical or commercial reasons. The affected participants will be notified immediately. It is not possible to make liability claims as a result of the seminar being canceled or rescheduled. 39 BEG Training Center Program Performance Scope and Prices The participation fee is per person and covers extensive seminar documents, lunch, snacks and soft drinks during the session. The seminar documents will be handed out in printed form at the start of the event. Unfortunately, it is not possible to provide the documents in electronic format. The participant is responsible for making hotel reservations and travel arrangements, and for bearing accommodation costs. We will be happy to help you to select a hotel. All costs stated in this program are subject to VAT at the legally applicable rate. The place of performance is the relevant venue concerned. The in-house seminar package is agreed by means of individual contracts. In addition to the contractually agreed seminar cost and the legally applicable VAT, the travel time, as well as travel and hotel costs for the trainers will also be charged if the event is held outside of the Stuttgart/Heilbronn area. In the event that an-house seminar is not filled to capacity, this does not constitute an entitlement to a reduction in the agreed price. Guarantee, Liability The trainers present their own opinion.
