Course Overview: Starting from a basic research idea that has matured into the filing of a patent application, the course will provide tools that will enable the entrepreneur to validate a technology opportunity, identify the need and the compelling product/service offer, identify and analyze valid business models, and to market the business concept to skeptic investors, potential customers and employees. The course deals with core issues in negotiating IP license agreements from the scope of license, to IP ownership and control.

3 TRAINER: Dr. Tali Sivan Dr. Sivan is highly skilled and experienced in the industry academia interface with particular emphasis in life science technology maturation. Having served as a TTO officer, as a founder and CEO of life science startups, and as a director of a corporate VC, Dr. Sivan has accumulated significant expertise in teaching practical courses on IP commercialization, with special focus on the establishment and nurturing of early stage companies and incubator start up companies. Dr. Sivan is closely acquainted with all relevant aspects of IP commercialization and protection and in biomedical ventures maturation.
