4 Lancaster General Women & Babies Hospital Lancaster, PA Neonatal Intensive Care Unit 17,000 sq. ft. $6.6 million June 2009 Barton Healthcare provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services for 14,000 square feet of new construction and approximately 3,000 square feet of renovation for the Women & Babies Hospital s NICU and Triage departments. The project included a pharmacy on the second floor, which was designed to meet USP Standard 797 for clean rooms, as well as a 21-bed level III NICU.

5 Lancaster General Hospital Lancaster, PA 5 th & 6 th Floor Fit-Out 43,000 sq. ft. $12 million January 2007 Barton Healthcare provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services for a 43,000 square-foot fit-out on the fifth and sixth floors of Lancaster General Hospital s Lime Street Building. The space includes 16 neuro-trauma ICU rooms, 32 general ICU patient rooms, nursing units and associated support spaces on both floors.

6 Lancaster General Hospital Lancaster, PA 7 th & 8 th Floor Fit-Out 50,000 sq. ft. $9.3 million December 2005 Barton Healthcare provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services for this 50,000 square-foot fit-out to create an area for 26 medical-surgical patient beds on the eighth floor and 12 neuro-surgical and 12 intermediate ICU patient beds on the seventh floor of Lancaster General Hospital s Lime Street Building.

7 Ephrata Community Hospital Ephrata, PA Bariatric Rooms 800 sq. ft. $308,000 Barton Healthcare provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services to renovate existing semi-private patient rooms on the second floor of the 1972 Building to construct four private bariatric rooms. Each bariatric room was equipped with a new overhead patient lift and oversized toilet rooms with bariatric rated fixtures. In addition, the patient shower room on the second floor of the 1948 Building was converted for bariatric use. Lancaster General Hospital Lancaster, PA Isolation Unit 8,000 sq. ft. $2.8 million Barton Healthcare provided mechanical and electrical design services for this 8,000 square-foot renovation project to construct an isolation patient unit. Renovations included an airborne isolation unit and replacement of the HVAC system as well as new lighting, fire alarms and electrical devices such as a nurse call, code blue, paging, telephone and data systems. Lancaster General Hospital Lancaster, PA Nursing Units 20,000 sq. ft. $6 million Barton Healthcare provided mechanical and electrical design services for a 20,000 square-foot renovation to the fifth floor east and west nursing units at Lancaster General Hospital. The project included renovations to 36 patient rooms and two nurse s stations, as well as new electrical devices and plumbing fixtures. The existing HVAC systems were replaced with a new air handler and variable air volume (VAV) distribution system.
