MasterLayout has been registered as a trademark and offers Office users a solution which ensures that all business stationery (letters, presentations, s, forms, ) can be created quickly and accurately. It is based on standard technologies and enables the creation of universal documents that comply with your Corporate Design while requiring little service. s.a.x. MasterLayout is extremely user-friendly and is maintenanced centrally. A customer solutions consists of the serial product s.a.x. MasterLayout and the customer specific part (adaptation: e.g. layout, logos, functionality, etc.) Adaptation s.a.x. MasterLayout Software The s.a.x. MasterLayout business letter contains only the configuration grid for the company s business template, not the specific details such as the name of a board member, special logo, etc. It is the control equipment and basis for the different templates of a company and hence valid e.g. for all company languages and logos. The administration and maintenance of all specifications for documents, presentations and s is carried out centrally at one working station for all users.

5 Provision of the Software System s.a.x. MasterLayout The core module as well as the required additional modules (e.g. Word) are licenced by s.a.x. Software GmbH. This includes the provision, 3rd level support as well as the option for an update to the newest version of s.a.x. MasterLayout. Adaptation Here the company details are implemented in s.a.x. MasterLayout. This means that one and the same software is turned into a Robert Bosch GmbH, a Philips or a Siemens solution. This effort is necessary for the first implementation, not once the software is in operation. Adaptation is usually made by s.a.x. Service GmbH, but generally it can be handled by another service provider or internally. Then, however, the effort for training of personnel and for continued updating of knowledge is high. Maintenance While in Operation This service includes the maintenance of the locations, company names, forms, master data, the knowledge of existing templates, etc. It is necessary according to our experiences. Maintenance is effected with the administration tools that are included in the core module. This Service can be carried out internally, by s.a.x. Service GmbH or another service provider.
