Student ID card Date: September 22 (Mon.) 9:15 am 4:30 pm Venue: Academic Affairs Office, 1st floor, Alpha Building Note: 1. Collect your student ID card in exchange for your Student Information Card. (English or Japanese-version, complete both sides) 2. It is highly recommended that you receive all the items on September 22. After receiving them, please confirm your -CNS/ERNS account name at ITC office. (see 4-5.) 3. The office staff will identify you using the photograph affixed to the Student ID Card Information Form submitted at admission registration. No one may collect the Student ID Card on your behalf. B. Certificate of Enrollment (available from 9:15 am, September 22, 2014, if required ) From: Certificate Issuing Machines in front of the Academic Affairs Office, 1st floor, Alpha Building Requirements: Student ID Card, four-digit pin number (see Guidebook for Students in the Graduate School of Media and Governance 2014 ), 200 yen fee per certificate C. Student Travel Fare Discount Certificate (Gakuwari) (available from 9:15 am, September 22, 2014, if required ) From: Certificate Issuing Machines in front of the Academic Affairs Office, 1st floor, Alpha Building Requirements: Student ID Card, four-digit pin number (see Guidebook for Students in the Graduate School of Media and Governance 2014 ), free of charge Details: For train or ship travel of 101 kms or longer, one-way. If you have not undergone the Health Checkup, you cannot obtain Student Travel Fare Discount Certificates. D. Purchasing Student Commuter Passes (if required for commuting to university) Rail: Only available for the most economical route between the closest station to your residence and the closest station to the university. To purchase a pass, write the details of your train route onto the sticker affixed to the back of your Student ID Card and show it at your most convenient train station office. Bus: In case a Student Commuter Certificate is required to purchase a student commuter pass for using a bus, please apply for its issuance at the Academic Affairs Office on the first floor in the Alpha Building. A certificate is not required for buses between Shonandai or Tsujido and the Keio University

4 4. Other information 4-1. Orientation for Graduate School Students (See 2.) Important information will be provided including the process of receiving the Master's or the Doctoral degree and procedures for course registration. All students must attend this orientation. Please bring the Guidebook for students of the Graduate School of Media and Governance The orientation about ERNS will be held twice on the same day as the orientation for Graduate School Students. One is in Japanese and the other is in English. Please attend either of them which you prefer. For other orientations, please attend if you are required or you are interested Enrollment in Various Courses Please read the Online Syllabi carefully and select the courses you wish to enroll in before the courses start. Bring a copy of the syllabus to the first class of the course you have selected. (see 4-4. B.) The number of students selected for certain Program Courses (HEISETSU) may be limited as these courses are also offered as undergraduate Courses. The method to screen and select students for these courses is described in the syllabus. Students are advised to read the syllabus carefully, consult the -SFS at < and make a course enrollment plan before attending the first class of their pre-selected course. You need a CNS/ERNS account to access the website. (see 4-5.) If students cannot decide which courses to enroll in, they can attend different classes to get a firsthand knowledge of different courses. Students are advised to understand the screening method used in each course and avoid any inconvenience that prevents them from taking a course that they decided to register in. Students must remember that some courses conduct a screening examination before the actual commencement of their first class Online Course Registration September 26 (Fri.), 10:00 am to October 1 (Wed.), 11:00 am Please register courses through the Gakuji Web System. Those who do not have a CNS/ERNS account may use the following temporary account for accessing the online syllabi. CNS/ERNS account A CNS/ERNS account is necessary for receiving important information from the school and accessing various systems in our campus. Please bring your Student ID Card to the Shonan Fujisawa Information Technology Center (ITC) on or after Monday, September 22, 2014 to confirm your account name.
