4 What is a Satellite Tracking Program? 3. Networking Program To allow your students and staff to network with other partner schools on the topics of satellite tracking, STEM technology and international goodwill.

5 Why should we do this? 1. This is a NEW STEM program for leading edge high schools to engage students in another exciting space-related program. 2. Will allow students to learn valuable new skills. 3. Students will be able speak live (via the radio) with their FCC license to other Quest Partner School students to collaborate regularly 4. Prepare your school for the next step: Possibly developing a satellite of your own and/or putting a payload on a future Quest Institute Satellite

The total, turnkey program cost includes: Two-day workshop training for ONE adult licensed FCC Technician Class or higher Radio Operator Workshop at Valley Christian Schools on July 23-24, 2015 [Additional adult workshop attendees at $450 each] Access to the online curriculum (lecture PPT notes, assignments & practice tests) for a minimum of five (5) students** and one instructor. Curriculum has easy access online with username and password. VHF/UHF runs longer that 100ft requires amplifiers for an extra fee ** More students can be enrolled at $450/student. *** Mounting poles and attachment hardware to your building is not included due to the wide variety of mounting configurations.

Most satellite tracking programs are FREE others (MAC based) cost only $69 to download] Mounting hardware for antennas Each installation is unique. This mounting hardware (typically poles and attachment hardware) typically costs less $200. Installation labor Use your own facility staff to do this. Be sure to follow local codes.

13 How do I sign-up? Submit School/Organization Contract Submit Mentor Application (must be a FCC licensed technician class, or higher, Ham Radio Operator) Deposit of $500 required by April 15, 2015 to hold the workshop spot. All remaining fees due 30 days prior to workshop All equipment delivered 2 weeks after workshop
