It is based on the brand new IRISPdf Server 5.0 and integrates seamlessly with the brand new release of Kodak Capture Software 6.9. KODAK Capture Software is a leading scanning and indexing software platform marketed by Kodak on a world-wide basis. The full version of Capture Software is used byover 15,000 customers. IRISPdf Server is a powerful Server software solution developed by I.R.I.S. to convert massive amounts of scanned documents into the most advanced

It allows to: compress the images into very small file sizes in color, grayscale or bitonal generate a full-text index using I.R.I.S. powerful OCR technology export the image and text data in popular formats such as fullysearchable PDF, XML, WordML, HTML, etc IRISPdf Server is designed for non-stop 24 hours processing of documents and can receive documents from multiple origins simultaneously in up to 125 different languages. It is marketed on a world-wide basis by I.R.I.S. and is used at many very large customers sites in different sectors, such as, Service Bureau, Government Agencies, Pharmaceutical companies, Petro-chemical companies, banks, insurance, etc. The new IRISPdf Server for Kodak Capture Software has been redesigned to easily integrate with multiple Kodak Capture Software workstations (see picture). The installation and initial configuration is straightforward. The Server software installs on the server workstation. A special KCS Batch Output Format is installed on each Kodak Capture Software Workstation. After that the entire system is up-and-running. Each scanning workstation equipped with Kodak scanners and Kodak Capture Software can export its batches of documents to IRISPdf Server for KCS, with their batch and document structure and the corresponding indexes generated by Kodak Capture Software. The data structure of Kodak Capture Software is completely recognized by IRISPdf Server for Kodak Capture Software The setup of IRISPdf Server for Kodak Capture Software can conveniently be done remotely from a Kodak Capture Software workstation. If different types of document are being scanned,that each require their own at the server level, sethe

3 parameters can easily be changed from the Kodak Capture Software workstation and for each specific batch of documents. The Global workflow is then: Kodak Capture Software performs Document separation and document indexing. IRISPdf Server for KCS will generate the full-text index, further compress the images and generate fully-searchable PDF, XML, WordML, HTML, formats. All indexing information generated by Kodak Capture Software is integrated in the XML file. Searches can be done across multiple batches. It supports black-and-white, grayscale and color images. Once located, users can view, print, or save the document as a PDF file automatically from the software. Document Security Keeping digital document images secure and verifying authenticity has never been more important than today. Ever-increasing shareholder pressures and legislation governing corporate responsibility affects businesses of all sizes. The new software version enables users to apply a digital signature to TIFF files during the scanning process. Should a digital document be modified in any way after it was output from Capture Software, the digital signature will automatically be lost. Kodak also makes an image verify tool available to allow customers to easily affirm if their images were digitally signed by KODAK Capture Software. Companies using a paid license of Capture Software may also distribute the tool to their customers, which can be especially valuable to service providers who want to offer their customers an added level of security. Scan-to- Kodak s new scan-to- functionality allows users to scan documents and them directly from Capture Software. The software offers optional fields for recipient address, subject, and text and also has the capability to define the maximum attachment size and can automatically split
