Experten in den Bereichen Bildung und Wirtschaft argumentieren, dass die Ausbildung, in vielen europäischen Ländern zur Verfügung gestellt, und die Qualifikation der Ausbilder und Betreuer der beruflichen Bildung im Bereich der Abfallwirtschaft und Recycling / Wiederverwendung erhebliche Upgrade-und Update benötigen. Darüber hinaus ist die Qualität der Bildung und beruflichen Fähigkeiten ein wichtiger Faktor in der europäischen Bildungsgesellschaft. Somit ist die Hauptaufgabe des COMBAT Projekts, die Kompetenz der Ausbilder in der berufliche Bildung zu verbessern, bestens begrüßt, vor allem im Kontext der Beziehungen zwischen Theorie, Praxis und der lernerzentrierten Ansatz. Zusammenfassung: The project Competence-based training for VET professionals in clean environment - COMBAT goals enhancement the quality of education and professional development of VET teachers/trainers, recognized as inherently important issues for the creation of EU knowledgebased society. Considering the needs of VET professionals, its main aim is to improve the quality of their competence and skills, by offering a new multilingual technology for learning, using on-line / off-line services. The COMBAT project proposes a competence-based e-learning system, structured as learning outcomes, assessed through ECVET principles, envisaged for ex-post accreditation and quality enhancement of VET education system at National/European level. Its specific aims are focused on: transferring the innovative WASTE-TRAIN learning program in the field of waste recycling/reuse; build-up of structured model in respect to EQF reference levels; selection of mix of learning methods and specific content and set up of multilanguage e- platform. In order to facilitate the process for incorporation of South East EU countries in the innovative VET professionals education, the COMBAT consortium includes 5 partners from BG, TR, SL, SI and is composed by Universities, R&D centers and SME. Beschreibung: The COMBAT project offers new strategy and content for training of teachers/trainers and tutors in Waste Management and Recycling/Reuse sector and strongly impact the vocational training system and practices in national scale trough: introduction of innovative approach in structuring the learning programme, implementation of IT based tools for education of VET professionals at sectoral level, use of formal/non-formal training approach with the goal to improve the quality of qualifications and competences of VET professionals, and transfer of innovative training content to increase the proficiency of specialists in the target and related sectors. The specific structural organisation of the programme is designed to fit the requirements of VET system and EQF, comprising the obligatory elements of Learning Outcomes description: knowledge, skills and wider competence. This set of elements is organised in a way that can be assessed and validated. The assessment is performed through application of specifically elaborated self-assessment tests designed purposefully for each LO element (knowledge, skills or wider competence). Thus the COMBAT project introduced the best practice in vocational education and training, and assisted in increasing the transparency and transferability of competence acquired. They are designed in a way to create a broad interactive e-platform, representing a structured knowledge based model for innovative qualifications design of teachers, trainers, based on EQF and EQARF principles, as well as to innovative content, e.g. waste management and recycling/reuse. The main project deliverables are obtained consequently in respect to the project activity plan, valorisation and quality management plan. Beschreibung: This result encompasses set of documents which aim to create a comprehensive approach for comparing the occupational profiles in waste management occupational field and learning outcomes at the end of VET programmes. It was developed on the basis of ISCO (International Standard Classification of Occupations), which was used as an overarching frame of reference for determining common occupational tasks and qualification requirements on the labour market. Its main objective is to improve the quality of VET for teachers/trainers, through creating a structured model for comparing qualifications in Waste Recycling and Reuse sector on the basis of the specific needs for education of VET professionals in respect to reference levels 5, 6, 7 of EQF. It aims to increase the transparency and recognition of qualifications and competences, including those acquired through non-formal and informal learning. Beschreibung: COMBAT new curriculum includes learning content focused on Waste Management and Recycling / Reuse area and represents the knowledge part of competence description. It embedded the optimal mix of learning methods, specific content and presentation. COMBAT new curriculum helps for updating the current content with innovative knowledge in the new field of waste recycling & reuse. The implementation of different languages (BG, SI, SK, and TR) increases the level of transfer of innovation at EU VET practices. It applies learner cantered approach by involving VET professionals in program design. COMBAT new curriculum introduces EC-VET system for learning outcomes evaluation and elaborates innovative ICT based content for VET professionals in waste management recycling/reuse sector with implementation of ECTS principle and EQF and EQARF approach. The learning material is constructed on the basis of the learner-centered approach and it offers new learning opportunities and skills development to the project targets. The whole learning content, arranged on modular principle, was available as VET learning pathways designed to particular competence profile for EQF levels 5, 6, and 7. Selected parts of it were offered as Learning Pathways (LPs) and Short Intensive Courses (SICs) on demand. COMBAT new curriculum covers the necessary elements in description of Learning Outcomes as a basic component of qualification - consisting of coherent set of knowledge, skills and wider competence that can be assessed and validated. Thus it is consistent with the requirements of VET system and EQF. The learning achievements were certified by a certificate, which was awarded upon successful completion of a defined Learning Outcome or the whole e-curriculum. Anwendungsbereich: Defined specific content of the COMBAT learning material is pertinent for training of VET professionals in the field of Waste Management and Recycling/Reuse, ensuring an overall competitive knowledge advantage to the trainees. 14 Produkt 'COMBAT Testing Sessions and Certification' Titel: COMBAT Testing Sessions and Certification Produkttyp: andere Marketing Text: COMBAT Testing Sessions and Certification includes all necessary elements for assessment the training possibilities of the COMBAT e-curriculum. Beschreibung: COMBAT Testing Sessions and Certification consists of one/two days testing sessions, arranged, designed and conducted for COMBAT target groups and audience. The format and specific content for each session was developed in collaboration with representatives from each group. The work was resulted in preparation of a set of training materials and testing tools, designed to facilitate the testing process and for collecting of feed-back information, namely: questionnaires; test-sheets; and reply cards. The certificate was issued, based on ECVET and reflecting the competence profiles description. They are structured as an important instrument for gathering of up-to-date information concerning competence development in Waste Management and Recycling/Reuse sector and provide useful data regarding applicability of the COMBAT training for professional carrier development. Beschreibung: COMBAT Workshops and e-conference represent several valorisation events which make sustainable the project goal through optimization of project results/outcomes and strengthening of their impact and integration into National/International VET system. The following types of dissemination products are produced: - Dissemination network: selected main and supportive stakeholders for realization of dissemination activities; - Dissemination channels: targeted information prepared to be distributed through various channels partners organizations information facilities, mass media; - Dissemination materials: o Electronic-based: setting up and regular updated/upgraded of web-site, providing relevant information about the project in EN, BG, SI, SK and TR languages to broad audience; e- presentations in EN language; o Paper-based materials: dissemination and exploitation guide in EN language, booklet Basic information brochure in EN, BG, SI, SK and TR languages, dissemination folders in all partner languages, posters in all partner languages; dissemination leaflets and flyers in all partner languages. Specialists employed at the relevant sectors were invited as guest lecturers, as well as representatives from national VET policy-making structures. The organization of these events provided broader transfer of innovative results into educational practice and virtual reality; contribute to the building up of technological and economical culture of the targets; and increase the levels of VET teaching professionalism by strengthening the cooperation between main educational stakeholders and formal and informal training bodies at national / regional level. The organisation of a virtual conference by the COMBAT project partnership influenced positively the economic, technological and societal situation at European level, since the Waste Management and Recycling/Reuse sectors are considered as a driver of sustainable growth in Europe. Both sectors were key contributors for making Europe the most competitive and dynamic economy in the world. Furthermore, elaboration of virtual presentations has several advantages as easy access and archiving for longer period of time, thus increasing the sustainability of this project result. Anwendungsbereich: COMBAT Workshops and e-conference directly reached many educational professionals, R&D staff, representatives of training bodies and associations, SMEs, governmental and nongovernmental organisations, consultants and other interested stakeholders and raised their awareness about the Waste Management and Recycling / Reuse subject. 17 Veranstaltungen Workshop COMBAT Workshop University of Ljubljana Datum Beschreibung Zielgruppe Öffentlich Two days workshop was conducted with national participants and lecturers dedicated on waste management, e-learning, blended learning and how to facilitate vocational education and training. The following subject were presented and discussed: Waste general considerations and generation ; Waste collection systems and basic elements of waste treatment ; E-learning and blended learning for VET ; Waste management implementation ; Waste economics of recycling and reuse ; ICT and e- materials to boost awareness ; Waste business risks of recycling and reuse ; and Waste mathematical modelling of solid waste economics. The participants had opportunities to become familiar with COMBAT project objectives and incorporate its approaches and materials into their courses at university or at secondary school level. Overview of COMBAT project aims and outcomes, COMBAT e- curriculum and COMBAT competence profiles were made. Specific presentation of Learning pathways for Environmental protection professionals (ISCO 2133) was performed. Final open discussion on COMBAT project importance and applicability was held. 18 Veranstaltungen COMBAT e-conference Datum Beschreibung A virtual COMBAT e-conference was organized with the main goal to promote international collaboration and to enhance the quality of education and professional development of VET teachers/trainers by improving the quality of their knowledge, skills and competence. Special attention was paid on establishment of links between theory and practice and application of learner-centered approach. COMBAT e-conference introduced the novel project learning outcomes, designed to increase the level of educators professionalism. It facilitated the implementation of the European Qualification Framework (EQF) principles and presented the relevant practices into waste management and recycling/reuse sectors at national/regional level. The COMBAT e-conference contributed to the change of the role of teachers/trainers and tutors, and created an appropriate support conditions.
