7 Schooling for girls in Afghanistan We support school eduction for girls in Afghanistan in cooperation with Svenska Afghanistankommittén. To date we have given SEK, corresponding to schooling during one year for 75 girls

9 Mentors in Rudbecksskolan Some of the members in Rotary Sollentuna -Tureberg act as mentors for students with a foreign background. 10 Eyeglasses for St Petersburg The pension is not enough to cover the cost of eyeglasses for Russia s senior citizens Our Club collects used eyeglasses, our optician checks and goes through them and then we send them to our sister club Rotary Neva in St Petersburg. An optician in Neva adjusts the eyeglasses to the senior citizens in need. In total last year and this year we have sent around pairs of eyeglasses! START YOUR OWN EYEGLASS PROJECT IN YOUR CLUB! WE HELP YOU GET GOING.

11 Youth health care in Kalininskij Kalininskij in St Petersburg has inhabitants, but only one health care center for year olds. Sexually transmitted deseases, unwanted pregnancies and drug abuse are severe problems In cooperation with Rotary Neva in St Petersburg we support the youth health care center financially, with contacts for training purposes and with purchase of equipment. Young people speak more freely with other young people! A campaign is being planned to educate young Russians in contraception and aids, so they can talk with their friends. We have taken part in the development of the concept and plan to participate with contacts and equipment. Rotary Foundation participates with ca SEK in matching grants!
