4 S.E.I.: A HISTORY IN BRIEF Over 40 years of activity, always ahead, always developing : 1963 Establishment as limited company (S.a.s.) 1976 It becomes a public company (S.p.A.) 1991 It purchases SITIS, Società Impianti Termici Industriali S.p.A After the merger, SITIS becomes a S.E.I. Division 2000 Constitution of the General Contractor Division but S.E.I. s history continues and will continue to develop in the future

S S WINNING CARDS In almost half a century of activity, S.E.I. has acquired and consolidated a great deal of experience in industrial plants (mainly for chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, iron and steel industries), in the building construction field (mainly for hospitals, hotels, shopping malls, offices) and in the electricity production and distribution for power stations and substations.

6 FIELDS OF ACTION S.E.I. offers integrated services for the Engineering procurement, installation and maintenance of: - instrumentation and automation systems; - electrical plants; - telecommunication systems; - air conditioning, ventilation and heating plants; - fire fighting systems.

7 NO EFFORT IS TOO MUCH FOR S.E.I. S SERVICE TO ITS CUSTOMERS To respond with maximum quality and efficiency to its customers different and increasingly sophisticated needs, S.E.I. includes three operative divisions: - ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION SYSTEMS Division for design, creation and maintenance of both public and private electrical and instrumentation systems. - SITIS Division this division is entirely dedicated to the engineering, construction and maintenance of HVAC systems. - GENERAL CONTRACTING Division diversifying the different spheres of action, S.E.I. has created this division, specialized in complete renovations and integrated services.

9 RESOURCES S.E.I. operates throughout the entire italian territory thanks to its branch offices in Naples, Rome and Rosignano Solvay At present, the staff of the company includes about 220 people, besides instruments technicians with a long experience are available for : - Instruments adjustment - Loop testing - Plant commissioning and start-up - Maintenance services The Technical Office is composed by engineers and planners with an extremely wide experience in the systems engineering field. The technicians are assisted by Computer Aided Design stations for both mechanical and electrical engineering. S.E.I. owns all tools and instruments needed for the construction and the execution of its activities.

13 QUALITY, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS S.E.I. S.p.A. considers the company quality as a fundamental element for the right development of its own activity. The Company, aware that quality means above all customers satisfaction, has updated its quality control system (already certified in accordance to the ISO 9001 standards in June 1997) in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 new standards The Company has also defined the objectives and the strategies documenting and disclosing them, in order to make sure that every level of the Company can understand, put in practice and support the Quality System. The respect of safeguards and hygenic rules in the work place represents one of the most important goals for the correct performance of the company s activity. In particular, S.E.I. has developed its own safety management system that is in compliance with the legislative decree D.l.g.s. 81/08 in force, using a risks evaluation system, and in compliance with the obligations of laws. Besides, S.E.I. S.p.A., reaching a continuous improvement of its own organization decided on adopting an ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM UNI EN ISO CERTIFIED.
