5 The Centre draws on more than twenty five years of experience to promote and protect the use of employee share plans. We maintain close relations with UK and EU policymakers to ensure legislative and regulatory changes affecting employee equities reflect our members interests; equally, we take the initiative and propose reforms to widen and deepen employee share ownership. Influence Members are alert to the major policy and industry discussions surrounding the use of employee equity plans and participate proactively in the Centre s lobbying activities. Excluded from this definition are any companies that sell employee share plan products or services. Plan issuer membership is renewed automatically at the start of each calendar year.
