Acknowledge receipt of this addendum in the space provided on the BID FORM. Failure to do so may subject Bidder to disqualification. The original Bid Documents are updated by the information as follows: A. REVISIONS TO GENERAL BID INFORMATION: 1. No revision to General Bid Information. B. BIDDERS QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES: 1. Question: In Addendum No.2 the quantity of the network switches and the PSIM/VMS software camera licenses have been revised, but did not see any change on the video storage (Pivot3 servers). Will the storage requirement change in the next addendum or the District plan to use the camera s onboard storage capability (using the SD memory card)? If you plan to use the edge recording, do the bidders need to include the SD card option in the bid, and what s the capacity of the SD card that you are looking for? Answer: See Item no. C, Revisions to Plans and Specifications, below. C. REVISIONS TO PLANS & SPECIFICATIONS: 1. As requested by The Consulting Group (TCG) and as shown on the attached specification sheets, revise the model number/capacity of the storage devices located at the following campuses. The contractor shall have a current and active license, C-10 and/or C-7, in the state of California, or have a C-7 subcontractor, to perform the work specified herein. B. 4 1.04 SUBMITTALS A. Provide manufacturer s standard literature for the specified products OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUALS, per section A. Provide manufacturer s instruction for operation and maintenance per section PERMITS AND LICENSES A. The Contractor shall obtain all permits required to perform the Work. B. The Contractor shall maintain active all licenses, registrations and certificates required for the performance of the Work. C. The Contractor shall provide the Peralta Community College District (PCCD) with copies of all permits obtained, and all licenses, registrations and certificates required for performance of the Work prior to beginning work. D. All Contracting work is done by certified prevailing wage Contractors. There will be a weekly Prevailing wage audit RE-USE ACTIVITIES A. It is the Contractor s responsibility to comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations and ordinances concerning waste handling, if any, at the site DISPOSAL OR RECYCLING ACTIVITIES A. It is the Contractor s responsibility to comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations and ordinances concerning waste handling, transportation and disposal or recycling. B. The Contractor must provide documentation to the Office of General Service, Peralta Community College District that the designated landfill or recycling facility has been made aware of the nature of the waste material and that they have accepted it for disposal or recycling. C. The Contractor shall submit all weight tags, bills of lading, and/or manifests to the Office of General Service, Peralta Community College for verification that the waste was transported and disposed of at the appropriate landfills or recycling centers WARRANTY A. 7 PART 3 EXECUTION 3.01 INSTALLATION A. Servers and storage devices shall be pre-staged and burned in at a separate location prior to being installed at the respective location. B. Contractor shall ensure that all of the equipment is installed per manufacturer s standards. C. The Contractor shall ensure that they do not contaminate (should contamination be found) the site during work. If contamination does occur, the contractor, at its own expense, will mitigate and remediate this contamination FINAL INSPECTION A. Contractor shall inspect all installed work in conjunctions with PCCD and their representative and develop a punch list for all items needing correction. The Punch List items shall be corrected and approved by PCCD IT Department prior to system acceptance. B. The contractor shall ensure that the Simply Network Management Protocol (SNMP) has been enabled on all IP devices. Coordinate the SNMP provisioning with PCCD s IT Department.
