Grupo T-Solar, which was founded in 2006 and integrated into the concession business of Isolux Infrastructure in 2011, is one of the largest independent producers of solar photovoltaic energy. The company has various strategic partners, including Munich Re, one of the leading insurance groups in the world, through its asset management company MEAG, and the global investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR). 06
7 A committed company Isolux Infrastructure is developing a mission and vision of corporate responsibility that is fully integrated into the company s culture and represents the backbone of their values and the way they interpret the responsibility of leadership. Isolux Infrastructure s commitment to human resources, innovation, quality and the environment is present in all areas of activity. The company is committed to providing value in the areas in which it operates, generating wealth and infrastructure, key drivers of local economic development. Maximum environmental respect All projects managed by the company are carried out with rigorous environmental care. One example of this commitment to environmental management is in the management of projects like the high voltage transmission lines in the Amazons, which must be executed with the highest environmental requirements to preserve the environment and enable the use of renewable energy in the Amazon. Another notable example is the company s project developed through WETT consortium (Wind Energy Transmission Texas), for transmission lines will transport the clean energy produced in the North Texas wind farms to the southeast of the state. Moreover, an important part of the company s activity focuses on renewable energies in a clear commitment to environmental sustainability and environmental care. Isolux Infrastructure, through the T-Solar Group, produces clean energy a renewable source that consumes no fuel and produces no greenhouse gases. In 2014 alone, the clean electricity generated by the T- Solar Group avoided the emission into the atmosphere of 150,000 tonnes of CO2, equivalent to planting 9,000,000 trees or 150,000 zero-emission vehicles. Furthermore, as part of the commitment of T-Solar Group to support the surrounding communities where it operates, in 2011 the company created the T-Solar Group social fund in Peru, together with the Office of Development-Procurement of the Society of Jesus, which supports the educational institutions in the area with the clear aim of improving educational conditions and the future of the children. In highway management, Isolux Infrastructure promotes the preservation of the environment in all its construction activities and encourages the economic development of the area with local suppliers. In this context, we would highlight the activity in Mexico in the newly opened Perote - Banderilla-Xalapa highway, where the company has carried out environmental awareness campaigns. 07
8 Recognitions Isolux Infrastructure has been recognized repeatedly for the financing of their projects. These awards attest to the company s knowledge and expertise in the infrastructure promotion and financing field, which together with the development and operation of its broad project portfolio has made Isolux Infrastructure a world leader in the management of infrastructure concessions. Isolux Infrastructure recently received the Project Finance Deal of the Year 2014 award from the prestigious international magazine World Finance for the refinancing operation of Saltillo-Monterrey highway through a double bond issue (senior and subordinated) in the Mexican market, with a maturity of approximately 25 years and a total issue amount of 252 million. This transaction was an important milestone in road asset financing in the Mexican capital market in In 2012, the WETT transmission line project in Texas, received the award for the project finance deal of the year 2011 for the construction, operation and maintenance of seven 600 km transmission lines, awarded by the prestigious Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC Group, chosen for the innovative structure and leverage levels achieved for financing the project. Meanwhile, Grupo T-Solar, a subsidiary of Isolux Infrastructure, has also received the Latin American Renewables Deal of the Year 2011 award from Euromoney for the financing for the construction and commissioning of two photovoltaic plants that the company manages in Peru. The company also received the European Solar Deal of the Year 2008 award for the financing transaction for the construction and commissioning of 26 of its 28 photovoltaic power plants in Spain. This financial transaction totalled EUR billion, becoming the largest managed operation to date in the photovoltaic industry worldwide. 08
