3 Definiciones Arquitectura: Es la organización fundamental de un sistema, representada por sus componentes, sus relaciones entre sí y con su entorno, así como los principios que gobiernan su diseño y evolución. (ANSI/IEEE ) [ISO/IEC42010]. Es una descripción formal de un sistema, o un plan detallado a nivel de sus componentes que guía su implementación", o "la estructura de componentes, sus interrelaciones, y los principios y guías que gobiernan su diseño y evolución a lo largo del tiempo (TOGAF). Estándar: Que sirve como tipo, modelo, norma, patrón o referencia. Tipo, modelo, patrón, nivel (fuente: RAE) Marco de Referencia (Framework): Define, en términos generales, un conjunto estandarizado de conceptos, prácticas y criterios para enfocar un tipo de problemática particular que sirve como referencia, para enfrentar y resolver nuevos problemas de índole similar (wikipedia). Metamodelo: Es un modelo descriptivo aproximado o simplificado de otro modelo (ISO/IEC 24744:2007) Modelo: Es una representación simplificada de un sistema o estructura compleja y recoge las funciones esenciales, su contenido, relaciones y los límites entre los elementos del mismo (TOGAF).
